CLEAN TERMINALS, NO BROKEN PLASTIC

Pull every terminal clean

The right extractors for tight engine bays and delicate plastic connectors. Stop fighting with picks that destroy housings.

WHAT MAKES IT

Three things that really matter

Precision, durability, and a system that keeps you organized.

Precision

Machined to fit

Each fork is sized to match common automotive terminal widths: Deutsch, Molex, Weather-Pack, Sumitomo. No more wedging in a tool that’s close enough.

Comfort

Handles that work long hours

Textured, slip-free grips give you control in oily engine bays. The narrow shanks reach into deep connectors without flexing.

Organized

Everything labeled, nothing lost

Each tool snaps into a molded tray. The case closes tight so the set travels from toolbox to trunk without a jumble.

Worked great on most plugs, but the smallest fork still feels a touch thick for micro connectors. Good kit overall.

Bought the 11pc set. The variety covers every weird connector I’ve run into on Japanese bikes.

The case is slim—fits in my tool roll. Took a few tries to learn the right angle on some pins.

I teach auto tech, I bought one for the classroom. The kids don’t break connectors anymore.

IN 3 STEPS

How to use your terminal extractor

It’s simple, but technique matters.

1

Identify the terminal type

Look at the connector face; match the pin shape (square, round, flat) to the correct extractor fork in your kit.

2

Insert from the front

Slide the fork over the terminal pin, right up against the connector body. Push in until you feel the lock tab release.

3

Pull the wire gently

With the fork holding the locking tab down, pull the wire from the back. The terminal should slide out smoothly.

4

Inspect and re-pin

Check the terminal for damage. If reusing, you can insert it back into the housing until it clicks.

THE SHIFT

From frustration to fast, clean work

Every DIY mechanic knows the moment: you’re swapping a sensor or tracing a short, but the connector pin won’t budge. You try a pick, a tiny screwdriver—and crack the housing. There’s a better way.

CHAPTER 01

The old way

Before this kit, you’d reach for whatever was on the bench. Bent paperclips, jewelers’ screwdrivers, even old wiper blades. They scratched up terminals, pushed seals out of place, and half the time left you with a broken housing and a dead-end repair.

CHAPTER 02

The right tool for the job

Then you find a set of machined extraction forks that actually fit the connector. The pin slips out from the front, no brute force needed. The housings stay intact, and you get on with the repair—fast.

CHAPTER 03

Wiring that trusts you again

Now you keep this kit within arm’s reach. Any car, any connector. You’re no longer afraid of cracking a $150 module over a stuck pin. That’s confidence no multimeter can measure.

About this item

Pull every automotive terminal without damage. This kit’s machined forks release locking tabs from the front, so connectors stay intact. No more cracked housings or wasted hours.

STRAIGHT TALK

What you should know before you buy

What connectors does this kit actually fit?
It covers the most common automotive terminal types: Deutsch DT/DTP, Weather-Pack, Metri-Pack, Sumitomo, and generic Molex-style connectors. It’s not meant for heavy industrial circular connectors or tiny computer pin headers.
How long do the extractors last?
With normal use on plastic connectors, they’ll outlast your car. The forks are case-hardened steel. If you force them into corroded terminals, you may eventually round a tip—but even then, they’re affordable to replace.
Will this work on a seized or corroded pin?
It’s designed for clean release of undamaged terminals. For corrosion, spray some contact cleaner first and work the pin gently. If the terminal is fused, no tool will save it—but at least you’ll get it out without cracking the housing.
Which set size should I get?
The 3pc set covers most common mid-size terminals. The 8pc adds micro and large pins. The 11pc kit gives you everything plus extras; it’s the one you’ll never outgrow. Start with the 11pc if you work on multiple makes.
Why not just use a small screwdriver or pick?
Because those pry against the housing and break locking tabs. This kit releases the terminal from the front, preserving the seal and the connector body. Over a few jobs, it pays for itself in avoided replacement parts.
