Description

Stop walking back to flip the same switch. This Wi-Fi module sits in the junction box behind your current wall switch and hands control to your phone and Alexa. Rated for 10A on 90-250V, it suits lamps, fans and wired appliances on the wiring you already have.

Turn any wired appliance into a smart device you control from your phone or voice assistant

Solves
  • Lights and appliances must be switched manually
  • Adding smart control without replacing existing devices
  • Remote control of home power when away

Turn any wired lamp or fan into a smart one

Stop getting up to flip a switch. Keep your existing wall switch, add a small Wi-Fi module behind it, and control your lights and appliances from your phone or Alexa.

Built for the wiring you already have

  • Control hardwired lights and fans

The 10A max load switches lamps, ceiling fans and other wired appliances. Plugs cannot reach those fixtures, so this is where the module earns its place.

  • Clear N/L terminal markings

Input and output terminals are labeled N and L right on the housing. You check each connection against the marking before you close the box, so the install check stays simple.

  • Wi-Fi with a status light

The module runs on standard 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. A small status button and a Wi-Fi symbol indicator show connection state at a glance.

Three ratings to check first

  • 10AMaximum load rating
  • 90-250VAC input range
  • 50/60HzMains frequency

Installs behind the switch you already have

  1. 1
Switch off the circuit at the breaker

Confirm the power is off with a tester before you touch any wire.

  2. 2
Open the junction box behind the switch

Check the existing wiring and make sure the box has room for a module with mounting tabs.

  3. 3
Connect to the N and L markings

Match the input and output terminals to the labels on the housing, then secure the module through its screw-mount holes.

  4. 4
Restore power and join your Wi-Fi

Turn the breaker back on, check the Wi-Fi symbol indicator, then add the module to your app and link it to Alexa.

The switch you keep walking back to

You get up to shut off a lamp you forgot, or you walk into a dark room you meant to light. Every manual switch keeps you tied to the wall, and the lamp stays on when you leave the house. Most smart home upgrades ask you to rip out working switches to fix that.

Smart control without new switches

The module is a bare Wi-Fi relay that mounts in the junction box behind the switch you own. Your plate, wiring and fixtures stay where they are. Unlike a , it reaches a hardwired ceiling light or fan that has no outlet to plug into.

Done right, then left alone

Rated for a 10A maximum load on 90-250V at 50/60Hz, the module fits standard mains. Power off at the breaker and let a qualified electrician make the mains connections. Once it is on your network, the lamp or fan answers your phone and Alexa from the couch or from another city.

Questions and answers

Does it need a neutral wire in my junction box?
w
Wanelo · seller

The terminals are marked N and L, so check your junction box for a neutral conductor before you order. If you are unsure what you have, have an electrician look first.

Will it work with my existing wall switch and wiring?
w
Wanelo · seller

Yes. The module sits behind the switch you already have, so the wall plate and switch stay in place. It is built for a standard junction box and a 10A load. Heavier loads need a different solution.

Is it safe for lamps and fans, and does it need an electrician?
w
Wanelo · seller

Lamps and fans within the 10A rating are the intended use. Mains connections should be made with the power off by someone qualified. A licensed electrician is the safe call if you have never wired a switch.

Does it work with Alexa and my Wi-Fi router?
w
Wanelo · seller

It connects over standard 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and is set up for Alexa voice control. Most home routers support b/g/n, so a typical home network is the right fit.

Does it control only one circuit?
w
Wanelo · seller

Yes, each module controls one load. For more lamps or fans, install one module per circuit. If a plug-in lamp is all you need, a is the simpler route.

Is it worth it compared with replacing switches?
w
Wanelo · seller

Replacing a wall switch means new hardware and more wiring work. You keep the switch, plate and fixture you already own, so the spend goes into one small module instead of a rewire.
