Eight LEDs turn a garden path or lawn into a glowing walkway with no wiring, powered by the sun.
- dark pathways and lawns at night
- tripping hazards on unlit paths
- no access to power outlets outdoors
- costly electrical wiring for garden lighting
Turn your dark lawn into a glowing walkway, powered by the sun
Right now the back path is a guessing game after sunset. With eight solar LEDs pushed into the lawn by day, the walkway lights itself at dusk and stays lit through the night.
Stainless rim, flush disc, even ring of light
- Eight LEDs in a clean ring
Eight LEDs sit in one ring, so each disc throws a round pool of warm white light onto the grass and the edge beside it. Place them one stride apart and the pools overlap into a continuous line you can walk without looking down.
- Stainless rim, flush to the lawn
The rim is brushed stainless steel with four visible screws, and it looks finished rather than like a plastic stake. The disc sits level with the turf, so the mower clears it and nobody catches a foot on a raised edge.
- Solar at dusk, no cord
The solar panel on top charges through the day and the lights switch on as it gets dark. Nothing plugs into an outlet and nothing gets trenched, so the whole job is a spike push and a sunny spot. For longer runs, solar path lights can be spaced to match your walkway.
Push in, face the sun, and forget the wiring
- 1Push the spike in
Press the ground spike straight into soil or lawn until the stainless disc sits flush with the turf. Push by hand and keep the disc level.
- 2Face the panel up
Check that the solar panel on top faces the open sky and is not in the shade of a fence, shrub or wall.
- 3Space them along the path
Set discs about one stride apart along the edge, so each pool of light overlaps the next. Use the spacing guide in the FAQ if the path is longer.
- 4Let them charge through the day
Leave the discs in full daylight. They charge while the sun is up and switch on by themselves at dusk.
- 5Walk it at dusk
Take one lap of the path after dark. Move any disc that leaves a dark stretch, then leave it alone for the season.

Questions and answers
Most straight paths work with discs about one stride apart along the edge, which means roughly four to six discs for a 10-foot run. Each disc pools light around itself, so closer spacing gives a continuous line of light. Walk the path at dusk after setting them and move any disc that leaves a dark gap.
The eight LEDs are set in a tight ring that lights the path edge and the grass right beside it, which is what you need to see a step. It is a path marker, not a floodlight. Use it to show the edge of a walkway, a step or a bed border, and pair it with a brighter fixture if you need to read a map or see a lock at the gate.
The rim is brushed stainless steel and the build is weather-resistant, so rain and wet soil are not a problem. The real risk is the mower. Keep each disc flush with the turf so the blade passes over it, and reset any disc that has tilted or shifted after a few weeks.
The solar panel needs direct daylight to charge. A disc in full sun for most of the day will light reliably. A disc in deep shade will dim or stay off, especially on overcast evenings, so place the disc where the panel gets sun and leave the shaded spots for plants.
Cheap plastic stakes tend to dim within a season and the thin housing cracks after mowing. These discs use a stainless rim and a sealed build, so you are paying for something that stays level and keeps glowing. Compared with a hardwired kit, you skip the trench, the transformer and the electrician's call.
Yes. Each disc is a stake-in unit with no cable, so you can pull it out, move it to a new bed edge and push it back in. Nothing needs to be unwired or patched.
