Push back cuticles, lightly buff the nail surface with a 180-grit file, and cleanse with isopropyl alcohol. A clean, dehydrated nail plate is the single biggest factor in preventing lifting.

Apply base coat or primer
For best adhesion, apply a thin layer of gel base coat and cure for 30 seconds before the builder gel. Skip this step only for quick single-nail repairs.

Load and apply the gel
