Keeps the DJI Avata battery locked in place during flight so it cannot come loose
- battery detaching mid-flight
- battery working loose from vibration or crashes
- fly-away risk from a loose battery
Keep your DJI Avata battery locked in place mid-flight
Before: a battery that shifts with every hard landing and punch-out. After: a compact clip over the pack that holds it fixed while the switch and buttons stay free.
A Fixed Buckle Built for Hard Flying
- Holds the battery where it belongs
The U-shaped buckle wraps the battery body and resists the small shifts that vibration causes on aggressive flying. The stock latch alone lets the pack creep on freestyle runs. This clip closes that gap, so the battery stays put after the hard landings.
- Buttons stay fully accessible
The power and function buttons and the storage area stay open. The red dashed guide in the product photos marks the clearance. Tape covers those buttons and leaves residue on the body. This clip does neither, so you power up and change settings without lifting anything off first.
- Precise fit, clean finish
Molded matte black plastic follows the body contour, so the clip sits flush instead of sticking out. The embossed BRDRC logo is the only detail on the surface. It is compact and lightweight, so the drone flies the way it did before.
Seat it in four steps
- 1Align the U-curve
Line the curve of the clip up with the battery body before you touch it to the drone.
- 2Press it straight on
Push the clip down in one straight motion until it seats evenly. Forcing it at an angle can stress the plastic and weaken the hold.
- 3Check the controls
Confirm the power and function buttons are clear and the switch still moves freely.
- 4Recheck after a hard landing
After any hard landing or crash, confirm the clip is still seated before you lift off again.

Questions and answers
The clip is shaped for the DJI Avata battery body and seats over it with a U-shaped curve. Confirm you have the Avata pack before you order. Seat it with the battery in place and check that the latch still releases normally before your first flight. Browse more drone accessories if you are building out the rest of the kit.
No. The buckle is built around the switch and function buttons and leaves the storage area open. The product photos show the clearance with a red dashed guide, so you can check it against your own aircraft.
The clip is molded from rigid matte plastic and shaped to resist the movement that vibration and hard landings cause. It is a retention part, not armor. Inspect it after any crash and replace it if it cracks.
Tape leaves residue on the body, covers buttons, and can lift off when it gets hot or dirty. The clip sits on the battery without adhesive and comes off cleanly. If a battery shifting mid-flight can cost you the aircraft, a small molded part is an easy call.
Yes. Lift the clip off, then remove the battery as usual. The snap-in fit is firm, so expect the clip to take a moment of pressure the first few times you remove it.
