Stop guessing at the stove, the oven and the nursery. The TP300 gives a live reading from a 145 mm stainless steel probe in seconds, covering -50°C to +300°C in 0.1°C steps. Small enough to hang by the hob and easy to keep close.
Fast, accurate digital food temperature in a pen-sized probe, from -50°C to +300°C
- Guessing whether meat is cooked through
- Overheated or unsafe baby milk
- Inaccurate coffee, drink or baking temperatures
- Bulky thermometers that are hard to store
Stop guessing. Know the exact temperature every time.
Before: cutting into meat, testing bottles on your wrist, and hoping the bake is done. After: a 145 mm digital probe gives a clear reading in seconds, for meat, baking, BBQ and baby milk.
Probe reach and a readout you can read at a glance

A probe that reaches thick cuts
The stainless steel probe is 145 mm long, so the tip reaches the centre of a roast, a loaf or a deep cake without cutting into it. The measuring range runs from -50°C to +300°C, which covers oven work, grill work and warm drinks with one tool. Keep the probe in the thickest part and wait for the number to settle.

Read it, then freeze it
The LCD shows the live reading to 0.1°C, and the C/F button switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Press HOLD to lock the number on screen, so you can step back from the grill or the stove and read it in comfort. Accuracy is rated at ±1°C.

Small enough to keep close
The body is 101 mm and the full tool is 246 mm, so it fits in a utensil drawer without a fight. A loop clip on the back hangs it by the stove or on the grill rail. It runs on one 1.5V LR44 coin cell and switches itself off after 10 minutes without use.
Three buttons, one quick check
- 1Switch on
Press ON/OFF to power the pen. Pick Celsius or Fahrenheit with the C/F button.
- 2Insert the probe
Push the 145 mm probe into the thickest part of the meat, the centre of a cake, or the liquid in a bottle. Keep the tip clear of the pan base and the bone.
- 3Wait for it to settle
Hold the probe still for a few seconds until the LCD number stops moving.
- 4Press HOLD
HOLD freezes the value on screen, so you can pull the probe out and read the number away from the heat.
- 5Let it switch off
If you forget it, the pen shuts itself off after 10 minutes without operation to save the battery.

Questions and answers
The TP300 is rated at ±1°C with a 0.1°C resolution and a measuring range of -50°C to +300°C. That is a clear, repeatable number for checking whether a roast or chicken has reached its target temperature. Let the reading settle in the thickest part before you decide, and check the result against your own food safety chart.
A dial thermometer is slow and bulky, so most of them end up in a drawer and get skipped. This pen is small enough to live by the stove, reads in seconds and runs on a single LR44 coin cell. One pen covers the roast, the bake and the bottle, so you are not buying a separate tool for each job.
The pen uses one 1.5V LR44 coin cell. It switches off after 10 minutes without operation, which saves the battery between checks. To replace it, unscrew the battery cover, swap the cell and screw the cover back on. Store a spare in a dry drawer, away from the sink.
Yes. Stir the milk so the heat is even, dip the probe tip into the liquid, wait for the number to settle, then press HOLD and read it before feeding. Check the reading against the temperature your baby's feeding guidance gives, instead of testing on your wrist.
Press C/F to change the unit. HOLD freezes the current reading on the LCD, so you can take the probe out of the food or the bottle and still read the number. For bigger roasts and bakes, see our digital meat thermometers.
