Description

Seven knives, each matched to a cheese texture, so every slice on the board comes out clean. The orange pakkawood handles and 3CR13 stainless blades make the set look as considered as the cheese. Built for hosts who want the board to look hosted.

Seven purpose-built stainless steel cheese knives with a durable orange pakkawood handle for every cheese and spread

Solves
  • one tool doesn't suit every cheese
  • cutting sticky soft cheese
  • cutting hard blocks
  • serving and portioning cheese neatly

One set. Every cheese on your board, cut right.

Stop wrestling soft brie with a butter knife and crumbling hard cheddar with the wrong tool. Seven purpose-built stainless blades on orange pakkawood handles make every serving clean and deliberate.

The right blade for every cheese on the board

Five cheese knives and a fork in a flat lay on marble

A blade for every cheese

The perforated knife takes soft brie without dragging, and the cleaver splits a hard aged block without crumbling it. The curved knife handles wedges, the cheese and butter knife spreads, and the spatula and fork serve what you cut. Seven pieces, one tool for each job, so you stop reaching for the wrong blade mid-party. Pair the set with a pick for a board that looks finished.

Built to be held

Each handle is pakkawood in orange and black, fixed with three or four steel rivets and a polished steel ferrule at the join. The blades are 3CR13 stainless rated 50-52HRC, a firm edge that holds its shape through a full cheese course. Each piece has a 105mm handle, 20mm high, sized to sit comfortably in one hand over a crowded board.

Seven knives, each with one clear job

  • Spatula×1

62mm blade for lifting and serving cheese cleanly

  • Fork×1

67mm blade with forked tips for portioning

  • Cleaver×1

84mm blade for hard cheese blocks

  • Chef knife×1

86mm blade for general cutting on the board

  • Perforated cheese knife×1

105mm blade with holes for soft cheese

  • Curved cheese knife×1

    105mm curved blade for wedges

  • Cheese and butter knife×1

115mm blade for spreads and butter

Hand wash, dry, and the handles last

  • Hand wash in warm water

Use mild soap and a soft cloth. Skip the dishwasher, since heat and long soaks loosen pakkawood.

  • Dry each piece right away

Dry fully before storing so the handle does not swell at the ferrule.

  • Keep the cleaver for cheese

Use it on hard cheese blocks only. Frozen food or bone can chip the edge.

  • Store in a dry drawer

A dry drawer or knife block keeps the rivets and handles tight.

Questions and answers

Do I really need all seven knives, or will two or three do?
w
Wanelo · seller

Two knives cover the basics, but soft cheese and hard cheese want different blades. The perforated knife keeps brie from dragging, and the cleaver splits aged cheddar without crumbling it. The spatula and fork handle serving, which a single butter knife cannot do well. Seven pieces let every cheese on the board get its own tool.

Is the pakkawood handle safe to wash and will it last?
w
Wanelo · seller

Wash it by hand in warm water, then dry it right away. Pakkawood is laminated wood that handles moisture better than plain timber, but soaking or the dishwasher can still swell it and loosen the fit at the steel ferrule. Treat it that way and the handles stay firm through regular hosting.

What is the blade made of and how hard is it?
w
Wanelo · seller

The blades are 3CR13 stainless steel rated 50-52HRC. The handles are wood with steel rivets and a 430 steel casting ferrule, so the join between blade and handle is metal, not glue.

Can I put these in the dishwasher?
w
Wanelo · seller

No. Hand wash, then dry each piece immediately. Heat and long water exposure dull the finish and can loosen the rivets over time. Our follow the same care routine.

Is this a good gift for a housewarming or wedding?
w
Wanelo · seller

Yes. The matched orange and black handles look intentional on a board, and seven pieces in one set reads as a complete gift without needing a note to explain it.

Is this worth it compared with buying loose pieces?
w
Wanelo · seller

A matched set costs less than buying the same pieces one at a time, and you get a spatula and fork for serving along with the cutting blades. The price reflects 3CR13 steel and pakkawood handles, not a mass-market metal cheese tool.
