Description

Pipe rosettes, borders and ridged edges that look like they came from a bakery. This 72 piece kit brings 42 stainless tips, reusable silicone bags, couplers and scrapers into one clear case, so the next birthday cake is the one people photograph.

72-piece all-in-one cake decorating kit with 42 piping tips for bakery-quality frosting designs

Solves
  • lack of tools for decorating cakes and cupcakes
  • limited piping designs from a basic set
  • messy frosting handling without proper bags and couplers
  • uneven cake frosting without scrapers

Turn plain cakes into bakery-style creations at home

Frosting that smears, bags that burst, and one lonely tip used to be the norm. With 42 stainless tips and a full kit of bags, couplers and scrapers, your cakes look like the ones from the bakery case.

Built to pipe, built to last

Grid of stainless steel piping tip openings in star, petal, round and leaf shapes

Stainless tips that hold their shape

Thirty-six small tips and six large ones, all polished stainless steel. Metal keeps a crisp edge under pressure, so a star rosette comes out with ridges you can count and a border stays straight across the whole cake. Plastic tends to soften and warp after a few bakes. These do not.

Hands piping frosting from a pastel silicone bag onto a red berry cake

Reusable bags that stay put

Four 30 cm silicone bags in sky blue, bubblegum pink, mint and peach. The soft matte walls grip well in the hand, and the couplers let you swap tips halfway through a cake without reaching for a new bag. Six disposable 35 cm bags are there for the messy jobs. Serious decorators can also browse our range.

Comb-edge plastic scraper pulled across a frosted cake for ridged sides

Edges that look finished

The comb-edge scraper pulls clean ridges into the frosting down the sides of the cake, and the two flat scrapers take care of the top. A smooth top and ridged sides in one pass is the difference between a rushed cake and one that looks planned.

From empty bag to first rosette

  1. 1
    Fit the coupler

Set a coupler inside a silicone bag, then screw the outer ring down until it sits snug. A loose ring leaks frosting at the join.

  2. 2
    Drop in a tip

Seat the tip on the coupler base before tightening the ring. Start with a large tip for rosettes, and leave the small ones for finer work.

  3. 3
    Fill the bag halfway

Spoon in frosting until the bag is half to two-thirds full, then close the top with one of the 10 twist ties. Overfilling pushes the seams and makes the pressure uneven.

  4. 4
    Pipe your first rosette

Hold the bag upright, squeeze with steady pressure, and lift as you release. Practise on a cupcake before you touch the birthday cake.

Questions and answers

I only plan to use three tips. Is a 72-piece kit worth it for a beginner?
w
Wanelo · seller

Yes, because you do not have to use them all. Start with one large rosette tip and a single bag, and the rest stay sorted in the case until you are ready. Buying those shapes one at a time costs more and still leaves gaps, so the full set is the cheaper way to get a second, third and fourth design.

Can I reuse the silicone piping bags, and how do I clean them?
w
Wanelo · seller

The four 30 cm silicone bags are built for repeat use. The six 35 cm PE bags are disposable, so save them for messy colours or long jobs. A cleaning brush comes in the set for getting into the tips and bag openings after each bake.

Will 72 pieces just be clutter I never open?
w
Wanelo · seller

The clear storage case is the reason this works. Tips sit sorted by size, so the one you want is visible without digging. Everything has a slot, and the case closes, which keeps the bag of tips from scattering across a drawer.

How does this compare with a single-tip starter set?
w
Wanelo · seller

A single-tip set gives you one shape and one bag that bursts under pressure. This kit adds 36 small tips, 6 large ones, four couplers so you can switch tips mid-cake, a rotating flower nail and three scrapers, which is enough to cover borders, rosettes and ridged sides on the same cake.

Are the plastic scrapers and couplers easy to put together?
w
Wanelo · seller

The couplers take a tip on the base, then the outer ring screws down until it sits snug. Seat the tip before tightening, and you get no leaks at the join. The scrapers are ready to use straight out of the case, with a comb edge for ridges and flat edges for the top.
