WINTER DRIVER'S EDGE

Prevents dangerous skidding and improves tire grip in snow and ice emergencies

When every second counts, Vehemo snow chains keep you on the road. Heavy-duty rubber traction pads bite into snow and ice, giving you the control you need to arrive safely.

WHAT MAKES IT

Engineered for real winter grip

Three design decisions that separate Vehemo from every other chain you’ve tried.

Close-up showing single chain with black rubber block pad nested in orange nylon webbing, metal ratchet hardware visible
DUAL TRACTION

Twin rubber grip pads per chain

Two textured rubber blocks double the contact surface. They bite hard into packed snow and glaze ice, while the rubber compound cushions your wheel — zero rim damage.

LOCK TIGHT

Heavy‑duty ratchet metal buckles

No flimsy plastic clips. The metal ratchet gives a crisp, audible click and holds your setting through every acceleration, brake and corner. Once locked, it stays locked.

NO GUESSWORK

Adjustable, secure fit for any car

The wide nylon strap extends to fit most sedan, SUV and light‑truck tires. Pull the tail to tighten in seconds, even with frozen hands. An extra‑tall sidewall? No problem.

I drive a rural route in upstate New York and these have saved me twice already. The rubber pads give me way more confidence than old metal chains.

Bought for a ski trip. Deep snow on the last 10 miles — my Outback climbed like a mountain goat. No slip, no drama.

Easy to get on even when it's dark and cold. The ratchet is solid. Lost a star because I wish they came with a small storage bag.

Used these for a week in Colorado powder. They bite hard and don’t chew up my expensive alloys. Worth every penny.

My wife was terrified driving in snow. Now she keeps these in the trunk and feels like a pro. That’s a win.

They hold well, but on dry pavement they get a little bumpy — which is expected. I take them off as soon as roads clear. Good emergency gear.

The orange webbing is super visible. I feel better knowing others can see my chains flashing, especially at night.

Two‑pack means one for each drive wheel. Install took me 4 minutes per tire the first time. Would recommend for anyone in snow country.

I keep them in my truck all winter. They’ve bailed me out on black ice twice. Metal ratchets — no cheap plastic. Good price for the peace of mind.

QUICK START

From trunk to tire in under 5 minutes

No mechanic, no swearing. Here’s the only routine you’ll need.

1

Position the pad

Lay the chain flat with the rubber side down, directly in front of the drive wheel.

2

Drive onto the pad

Slowly roll the vehicle forward until the tire sits squarely on top of the rubber block.

3

Lace the strap

Bring the orange nylon strap over the top of the tire and thread it through the metal ratchet buckle.

4

Tighten & lock

Pull the tail until snug, then pump the ratchet handle until you hear a firm click. Tuck the loose end behind the strap.

5

Double-check

Drive 30 feet, stop, and re-tension if needed. Rubber pads should be centered and flat against the tread.

CHAPTER 02

The moment you click in

We engineered every detail — wide nylon strap, twin rubber blocks, metal ratchet hardware. No tools, no guesswork. Just a secure, positive lock that turns a frozen road into predictable traction.

CHAPTER 03

The arrival that matters

Now every trip ends with you pulling safely into your driveway. Through snowdrifts, down icy passes, Vehemo chains give you the one thing no storm can take — confidence.

TAKING CARE

Keep them storm‑ready

🌊
Rinse and dryAfter use, hose off mud and salt. Let the nylon and rubber air dry completely before storing.
🔧
Inspect metalCheck ratchet teeth for rust or debris. A drop of light oil on the hinge every spring keeps it smooth.
📛
Strap checkLook for cuts or fraying on the orange webbing. If you see more than 10% of the fibers gone, replace the pair.
📦
Store smartKeep in a breathable bag in your trunk, away from sharp tools. Avoid crushing the rubber pads.

STRAIGHT TALK

Honest answers before you buy

Will these scratch my wheels like old metal chains?
No. The rubber traction pads sit between the strap and your rim, so there’s no metal‑to‑rim contact. You get the grip of chains without the gouges.
What cars do they fit?
The adjustable nylon strap accommodates most standard car, SUV and light‑truck tires. They won’t fit extreme low‑profile rubber or very wide off‑road tires — check your sidewall clearance if you’re unsure.
Are they hard to install in freezing weather?
No tools needed. Lay the chain flat, drive onto the rubber pad, pull the strap tight and click the ratchet. With gloved hands it takes about two minutes per wheel once you know the motion.
How long will they last?
The rubber blocks and nylon webbing are built for multiple seasons. Inspect the metal buckles and strap stitching before each winter — with proper care they’ll easily serve you for years.
Are these a good value compared to traditional chains?
Premium materials cost more up front, but they protect your wheels, need no tools, and go on faster. Over three seasons, the cost per use is pennies — far less than a tow or a fender repair.
Can I use them on bare pavement?
No. Chains are for snow and ice only. On dry pavement the rubber blocks will wear quickly and the ride will be rough. Remove them as soon as roads clear.
