Description

One desk, two computers, and no more crawling behind the tower. Press the front key and your printer, mouse, keyboard and USB drive move to the other PC. Two inputs, four USB 3.0 outputs and indicator lights make the active machine obvious at a glance.

Share one set of 4 USB devices between 2 computers with a single button press

Solves
  • constantly unplugging and replugging USB devices
  • needing separate printers, mice or keyboards for each computer
  • desk clutter from duplicate peripherals

Switch two computers with one press and stop the replugging

Right now every switch between your work PC and home PC means pulling cables and fighting for the same printer port. With this USB 3.0 switch, one button moves your mouse, keyboard, printer and drives over in seconds.

One button, four ports, two computers

  • One press changes the active PC

The front switch key moves all four USB outputs to PC 1 or PC 2. Your mouse, keyboard and printer follow the button, so you never reach behind the tower. Check the indicator light for the PC you want, press once, and start working.

  • Four USB 3.0 ports, shared

All four output ports are USB 3.0, so a printer, a mouse, a keyboard and a drive can stay plugged in at the same time. The blue port faces make it easy to see where each device goes. Real transfer speed depends on your drive and the computer ports, but the switch itself does not hold you back.

  • Two inputs, one desk

Two USB input ports take each computer once, so the desk is wired a single time. The compact matte black housing with a silver bevel sits flat beside your keyboard and does not crowd the monitor. Two indicator lights show which PC is live.

Printer sharing for two PCs, at a glance

  • 4USB 3.0 output ports
  • 2PC input ports
  • 5VMicro USB power input
  • 2USB-A cables included

Wire it once, switch with a press

  1. 1
    Connect both computers

Plug one USB-A cable from PC 1 into input port 1, and the other from PC 2 into input port 2.

  2. 2
    Plug in your devices once

Connect your printer, mouse, keyboard and USB drive to the four USB 3.0 output ports.

  3. 3
    Add the micro USB power

Connect the micro USB 5V power input so the switch runs before you test it.

  4. 4
    Press the switch key

Press the front key to change the active PC. Check that the matching indicator light is on before you start working.

Everything you need to start sharing

Every swap costs minutes

The third unplug of the morning

You know the sound of a cable being yanked out of the back of your tower. It happens once for the printer, once for the drive, and again for the mouse receiver. Each swap eats a few minutes and drops your cursor in the middle of a task. By lunch the desk has a second printer and a second mouse that you only use half the time.

One switch, one press

This USB 3.0 switch takes over that job. Two input ports take your two computers, and four USB 3.0 output ports take the printer, mouse, keyboard and drive. The front switch key hands all four outputs to whichever PC you choose, and the indicator lights tell you which one is active before you start typing.

Wired once, switched forever

Once the cables are in, the back of the desk stays still. Switching becomes a single press with no reaching behind the tower. Two USB-A cables come in the box, so you can wire both computers today and stop buying duplicates for the second machine.

What to expect as you start sharing

  1. First use
    Desk wired once

Connect both PCs, plug in your printer, mouse and keyboard, then press the switch. Check the indicator light matches the PC you want before you start working.

  2. 3 uses
    Switching becomes routine

After a few presses the motion feels natural, and you stop reaching behind the tower to swap cables.

  3. 30 days
    Fewer cables, less clutter

Over a month, most desks stop needing a second printer or a second mouse for the other computer, and the back of the desk stays tidy.

Questions and answers

Will my printer, mouse and keyboard work through the USB switch?
w
Wanelo · seller

Most standard USB devices work through the four output ports, including printers, mice, keyboards and USB drives. The packaging lists compatibility with many USB devices, so check your own model if it is unusual. Plug each device into an output port and the active PC will see it.

Does it need the micro USB power cable to run?
w
Wanelo · seller

Yes. The switch has a micro USB 5V power input, and the box holds the switch and two USB-A cables only. Before you order, make sure you have a micro USB 5V power source near the desk. Without power, the switch may not pass signals reliably between the two PCs.

Do I need drivers or software to switch between PCs?
w
Wanelo · seller

The packaging does not mention drivers or software. The switching itself happens on the front key. Your printer and USB drive still use their own drivers on each computer, as they would with any USB connection.

Does it slow USB 3.0 transfers for a USB drive?
w
Wanelo · seller

All four output ports and both inputs are USB 3.0, so the switch does not hold a USB 3.0 drive back to USB 2.0 speed. Actual copy speed depends on the drive and the computer ports. Finish a copy before you press the switch, since changing PCs mid-transfer can interrupt the file.

Is this better than a cheap USB hub for two computers?
w
Wanelo · seller

A plain hub gives you more ports on one computer, but it cannot hand devices to a second PC. To get the same result with a hub, you would replug the cables every time. A second printer and mouse costs more and takes up desk space. One switch covers the whole desk for less.
