Shreds cheese, chocolate and vegetables fast and evenly with food-grade stainless steel
- Tedious hand grating of cheese
- Uneven or chunky shreds
- Hard-to-clean grater parts
- Knuckle scrapes from flat graters
Fresh shreds of cheese and chocolate in seconds, knuckles intact
Tired of scraped knuckles and chunky, uneven grating? Load food into the hopper, turn the handle, and watch fine shreds fall onto your plate.
Sharp blades and a drum that do the work

Rotary drum with sharp perforated blades
The drum turns and food feeds across the perforated blades, so each pass gives a consistent, fine shred. Cheese lands straight on the plate instead of piling against the frame, and you never press a block against a sharp edge.

Gasket and detachable drum
The gasket protects the tool, and the removable drum and buckles come apart in seconds. Take the drum out, rinse the perforations under the tap, and the frame wipes clean in a minute.

Food-grade stainless steel
The packaging calls out food grade steel, and the polished brushed finish suits everyday use. It wipes clean after cheese, chocolate or raw vegetables and looks at home beside your wood cutting boards.
Load, turn, and shred in three steps
- 1Load the hopper
Cut the cheese or chocolate to fit the 50 mm hopper and drop it in. Chill soft cheese for 15 to 20 minutes first so it shreds instead of smearing. Looking for a boxed option? Browse the cheese grater with box range.
- 2Turn the handle
Rotate the crank in steady, even strokes. The drum pulls food across the blades and the shreds drop from the outlet.
- 3Collect on the plate
Shredded food falls straight from the discharge outlet onto your plate or pizza. Push food down with a spoon, never with your fingers.
Compact frame, measured to the millimetre
- 195 mm (7.68 in)Length
- 80 mm (3.15 in)Height
- 60 mm (2.36 in)Width
- 50 mm (1.97 in)Hopper

Questions and answers
Yes. The drum and buckles come apart, so you rinse the drum on its own instead of scrubbing the whole frame. Soft cheese can smear into the perforations, so chill the block first. Rinse under warm water right after use and dry every part before you put it back together.
For a block of cheese or a bowl of vegetables, the crank is quicker than a box grater and far less risky for your knuckles. A microplane still wins for a dusting of parmesan on one plate. The grater is built for the bigger jobs.
The hopper is 50 mm across and the grater is 195 mm long, which suits a family pizza or a large salad. Load the block in pieces and keep turning. For bulk vegetables, a manual vegetable chopper covers the heavier work.
The packaging calls out food grade steel, and the same drum handles both hard cheese and chocolate. Wash it after each job and dry it fully so no residue sits in the perforations.
The gasket protects the tool where the drum meets the frame. Crumbs can still collect at the outlet, so wipe the frame after each use. Cheese dust and chocolate shavings rinse away with the drum.
Pre-shredded bags cost more per gram than a block of cheese, and their anti-caking coating keeps them from melting as smoothly. Grate your own block and the grater pays for itself after a few pizza nights.
