Know the moment a door or window opens, without a costly alarm kit. The pocket-sized Mijia pair mounts with adhesive, needs no wiring and reports each entry to the Mi Home app you already use. Start with the entry that worries you most.
Pocket-sized smart door and window sensor that alerts you when entries open or close
- unknown door or window openings
- home security gaps
- need for a low-cost smart alarm add-on
Know the moment any door or window opens
Entries you cannot see are gaps you cannot guard. Add a pocket-sized sensor pair and each opening reports straight to your Mi Home app.
Two pieces, one simple open-or-closed signal

Magnetic open-or-closed signal
Two magnetic halves sit together when the door or window is shut. When they separate, the sensor reports the change to your Mi Home app. No wires run to the frame, and nothing needs to be powered on the door itself.

Alignment marks for quick setup
Each piece has its own alignment mark. Line the marks up across the gap and the pair closes cleanly. Set the gap too wide and the sensor can read a shut door as open, so take the extra minute on the marks.

Status LED that confirms it
A small status LED dot sits on the main sensor. It shows the unit is active, so you can check the pair at a glance without opening the app.
Align the marks, then pair to Mi Home
- 1Place the pair on opposite sides
Stick the magnet on the door or sash and the sensor on the frame, facing each other across the gap.
- 2Line up the alignment marks
Match the marks on both pieces with the door closed. Keep the gap small so the sensor reads a shut door as closed.
- 3Add the device in Mi Home
Pair the sensor through the Mi Home app using your compatible gateway.
- 4Test one open and close
Open the door once and confirm the alert reaches your phone before you leave the sensor in place.
One sensor, one magnet, one entry covered
- Door window sensor main unit×1
Carries the Mi logo and the status LED dot
- Magnet unit×1
Has its own alignment mark to line up with the sensor
Gaps you only find after the fact

The entry you did not check
You walk the flat at night and test the front door by hand. The bedroom window might be open, and you will not know until morning. Checking every entry yourself is slow, and it still misses the one you forgot about.
A sensor the size of a pocket
The main unit and the magnet are small, matte white and light in the hand. Both have rounded edges, so they sit flat on a frame without catching. The pair fits the Mi Home system you already run, and there is no wiring to plan around.

Coverage at add-on cost
Two sensors in the box give you a low-risk start. Put the first pair on the entry that worries you most, watch the alerts for a few days, then add the next one. Each entry you cover reports to the same app.

Questions and answers
No. The sensor pairs through the Xiaomi Mi Home app using a compatible gateway. Check that your gateway supports the sensor before you buy, since the pair reports through that hub.
Yes. The magnet goes on the moving sash or door, and the sensor sits on the fixed frame. Align the marks on both pieces so the gap stays small when the window is closed.
It joins the same Mi Home app as your other Xiaomi devices, so alerts from every entry show up in one place. Pair it through your existing gateway, the same way you would add any other device.
No. One sensor reports one entry. It works as a layer of coverage, and a siren or monitoring service is a separate job. Add a pair to each entry you want watched.
A full kit replaces hardware you may already own. This pair adds to the Mi Home setup you run now, so each extra entry costs one small pack instead of a whole new system.
