   The compact blue pad sits with its glossy metallic rim facing up. The Joyroom name is printed on the top side.

   Place the pad flat

   The pad is light and plastic, with the charging cable already attached at one edge. Set it flat on the nightstand or desk.

   Connect the cable

   Plug the attached cable into a USB power adapter. The LED dot lights to show the pad has power. A magnetic charging cables option is not needed for this setup.

   Snap the phone on

   Set your iPhone 12 or newer down on the pad and the magnet pulls it into the centre. The green charging ring appears on the screen.

You put the phone on a generic pad and it sits a few millimetres off the coil. Charging crawls or stops, and by morning the phone is still low. The case feels warm where it touched the pad, and you pick it up again to check.
