INTERIOR LIGHTING

A brilliant upgrade for your car’s interior

Replace dim factory bulbs with our super-bright 4014 SMD LED festoon bulbs. Canbus error-free design fits 31mm, 36mm, 39mm, and 42mm sockets — crisp white-yellow light without dash warnings.

WHAT MAKES IT

Three reasons this beats the OEM bulb

Technical schematic of 31mm festoon bulb showing front yellow SMD grid and side metallic construction
CAN bus ready

Zero dash warnings

Integrated resistors mimic halogen load, so your car’s computer sees a healthy bulb. No flickering, no “bulb out” lights — just plug it in and forget it.

Technical schematic of 36mm festoon bulb with detailed front and side views showing dense LED array
4014 SMD chips

Dense, even brightness

High chip count on a red PCB produces a smooth field of light with no dark gaps. The 4014 footprint is twice as bright as lesser 5050 or 3528 diodes.

Four sizes

Perfect fit, guaranteed

Measure your existing bulb or check your manual — we offer 31mm, 36mm, 39mm, and 42mm lengths. Polished stainless steel caps slide securely into any standard C5W/C10W socket.

Bright and well-built. Had to try the 39mm first but the 42mm was the right call for my Tesla Model 3 map light.

My old LED flickered like crazy. This one is rock solid. Can’t beat it for the price.

Good spread of light, but check your socket depth carefully. The 31mm was a tad short for my trunk light.

I buy these for all my project cars now. The stainless caps don’t corrode like the cheap ones.

No hyperflash, no error codes on my Audi B8. This is the first LED I’ve found that truly just works.

Brightness is on point. Would be 5 stars if they offered a warm 3000K option for older cars.

3 MINUTES TO BEGIN

How to install in one minute

1

Turn off the vehicle

Ensure the dome or courtesy light switch is off. Key out of ignition.

2

Remove old bulb

Pry off the plastic lens (most pop off by hand). Gently pull out the festoon bulb from the metal clips.

3

Insert new LED

Slide the LED bulb into the same clips. Polarity doesn’t matter — it works both ways.

4

Test and enjoy

Turn the light on. If it works, snap the lens back. If not, rotate the bulb 180° (some rare circuit boards are directional).

THE SHIFT

From dull to dazzling

Every car owner knows the frustration: weak dome lights that barely glow. Our story isn’t just about a brighter bulb — it’s about reclaiming visibility, eliminating dash errors, and making every drive feel a little more modern.

CHAPTER 01

The dim reality

Factory halogen dome lights struggle to illuminate even the glovebox. You squint to find items, read a map, or check the backseat. Upgrade attempts with cheap LEDs often trigger CAN bus errors, flashing warnings on your dash — or worse, flicker and fail within weeks.

CHAPTER 02

A smarter bulb

We designed a festoon LED bulb around the 4014 SMD chip, packing densely onto a precision PCB with polished stainless steel caps. Built-in CAN bus resistors emulate the load of a halogen bulb, silencing error codes across a wide range of vehicles. Four precise size options ensure a drop-in fit for most European, Asian, and domestic cars.

CHAPTER 03

Pure, even light

The result: a crisp white-yellow beam floods the cabin with uniform brightness. No hot spots, no color shift. Reading a map, finding a dropped earring, or simply stepping into a well-lit car at night transforms from a nuisance into a seamless, premium experience.

HONEST FAQ

Straight answers for picky owners

Will these bulbs trigger a ‘bulb out’ warning on my dash?
No — each bulb has an integrated CAN bus resistor that draws the expected current. They have been tested on hundreds of late-model vehicles including BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, and Honda without generating error codes. If your car has a highly sensitive monitoring system (like some 2020+ Volvos), a simple coding change may still be needed, but in 98% of installations it’s true plug-and-play.
How do I know which size to order?
Measure your current bulb tip-to-tip in millimeters. Common sizes are 31mm (often in map lights), 36mm (Asian interiors), 39mm (dome lights), and 42mm (trunk / larger housings). If you’re unsure, remove the old bulb and measure it next to a ruler — or check your car’s manual. The product page has a size selector for each listing.
Are these brighter than my factory halogen bulb?
Significantly. A standard halogen festoon bulb produces about 50–80 lumens; our 4014 SMD array delivers roughly 200–300 lumens of crisp white-yellow light. You’ll immediately notice the difference on the first night drive.
Do they get hot or drain the battery?
The bulbs run cool to the touch — the aluminum caps and efficient LED design dissipate heat quickly. They draw only 2–3 watts, about one-tenth of a halogen bulb, so you can leave a door open for hours without draining the battery.
What is the lifespan?
With typical use (a few minutes per day), our bulbs should last 30,000 hours or more — that’s roughly 10 years of daily driving. The 4014 SMD chips are rated for 50,000 hours of continuous use, but automotive voltage fluctuations reduce that slightly.
Why do they cost more than the no-name LEDs on auction sites?
You’re paying for the CAN bus error-free circuitry, high-density chip layout, and polished stainless steel caps that won’t corrode. Cheaper bulbs skip the resistor, use fewer, dimmer chips, and often have steel caps that rust. Over three years, buying two or three cheap bulbs that fail ends up costing more than one of ours that just works.
