Make homemade, additive-free sausages for your baby in a six-link silicone mold
- store-bought sausages with unknown additives and salt
- hard-to-shape homemade meat sausages
- sticky release when unmolding small meat portions
- making toddler-sized portions for steaming
Homemade sausages for your baby, shaped and steamed in one batch
Instead of guessing what's in store-bought sausages, shape your own six-link batch from minced meat and carrot. Steam it, freeze it, and serve it with confidence.
Six links, one tray, one clean batch
Six links in one press
Each cavity is a toddler-sized link, so every piece in the batch comes out the same length. You fill the tray once and the whole batch is done, with no shaping by hand and no uneven pieces to sort through.
Built for steam and freezer
The silicone is rated to 230°C and -40°C, so the same tray goes into the steamer and then into the freezer. You do not need a second container to move the links between cooking and storage.
From minced meat to steamed links in four steps
- 1Mix the meat
Combine minced meat with grated carrot and seasoning until the mixture holds together. Keep it smooth so it pipes without clumping.
- 2Brush and fill
Brush the cavities lightly, then pipe the mixture into all six. Fill each one to the rim and press gently to push out the air.
- 3Steam until firm
Lower the tray into a glass steamer using the orange grip handles. Steam until the links are firm and cooked through, then let them rest briefly before lifting.
- 4Release and serve
Flex the silicone gently and the links lift out. Serve with tomato slices, or cool them fully and freeze the rest in a single layer.
Two trays, yellow and brown, ready to use

Questions and answers
Yes. The trays are made from soft matte food-grade silicone rated to 230°C high heat and -40°C low temperature, so they handle steaming and freezing without any extra steps.
The silicone is flexible, so a gentle flex of the tray lifts the links out. Fill each cavity to the rim, steam until firm, and let the links rest for a moment first. Rinse the gaps between cavities right after use, while the meat is still soft and easy to clear.
Yes. Cool the links fully, freeze them in a single layer, then move them into a reusable food storage bags so they do not stick together.
Colour is a personal choice. Both trays share the six-link shape, so the second tray lets you run a double batch or keep a spare on hand. Two trays cost less than a second round of store-bought sausages for the same week.
Hand-rolled meat wrapped in cling film takes longer and comes out uneven in size. One tray presses six matching links per batch, so a single Sunday session can fill the freezer for the week. You pay once for the tray and get a repeatable method in return.
