MEDICAL-GRADE SUPPORT

Heal Safely with Medical-Grade Immobilization

From acute fractures to post-operative recovery, this external fixation knee brace delivers the rigid stability your knee needs — so you can focus on healing, not on holding back.

THE SHIFT

From Instability to Confident Recovery

A fracture or ligament tear doesn’t just hurt — it steals your trust in your own knee. This brace is designed to give that trust back.

CHAPTER 01

The Weight of Instability

After a fracture, every step feels uncertain. Standard sleeves offer minor compression but leave the joint unsupported — risking re-injury and delaying healing. The constant ache and fear of a misstep can make even simple movements daunting.

CHAPTER 02

Engineered to Lock In Safety

The external fixation design replaces guesswork with certainty. Rigid side panels and multi-point straps work together to maintain perfect alignment — exactly what your orthopedist would prescribe. The open patella window offloads pressure, allowing healing to happen in its own time.

CHAPTER 03

The Steady Path Back

Within weeks, you move from guarded motion to controlled rehabilitation. The brace stays your partner through physio sessions, daily walks, and finally the moment you leave it behind — knowing your knee is truly ready.

WHAT MAKES IT

Why This Brace Outperforms Generic Supports

Every component is chosen for a clinical purpose — not just cushion.

Structural Integrity

Multi-Strap Rigid Side Panels

Dual aluminum or heavy-duty plastic stays prevent lateral movement, giving the knee a rigid exoskeleton that no sleeve can match. Each of the five straps adjusts independently for precise compression where you need it most.

Targeted Relief

Open Patella & Breathable Neoprene

The strategic cutout eliminates pressure on the kneecap — essential for post-surgical recovery — while the perforated neoprene wicks moisture and prevents skin maceration during long wear.

Full-Leg Control

Adjustable Compression Zones

Three distinct compression segments — thigh, knee, and calf — let you tailor tension to reduce swelling in the acute phase, then ease off as rehabilitation progresses. The long length immobilizes both upper and lower segments for true external fixation.

GETTING STARTED

How to Fit Your Brace Correctly

Proper adjustment is key to effective immobilization. Follow these steps each time you put it on.

  1. 01

    Position the Brace

Sit with your leg extended. Slide the brace behind your knee, centering the patella window directly over your kneecap.

  2. 02

    Secure Thigh Straps First

Tighten the uppermost strap around your thigh, but not so tight that it restricts circulation. You should be able to slide one finger underneath.

  3. 03

    Adjust Calf Straps

Working downward, secure the mid‑calf strap and then the ankle strap. This sequential order maintains alignment.

  4. 04

    Fine‑Tune Mid Straps

Now adjust the two straps directly above and below the knee to control rotation. They should be snug but allow normal foot color.

  5. 05

    Check Hinge Alignment

Stand up and verify that the metal hinges are parallel to your leg’s natural axis. If they feel off‑center, loosen and realign the entire brace.

YOUR JOURNEY

What to Expect Week by Week

A typical recovery timeline when using the brace as directed.

  1. WEEK 1

    Acute Immobilization

Swelling decreases significantly as the brace holds the joint still. Pain levels drop due to reduced movement. You’ll likely wear it 24/7 except for hygiene.

  2. WEEK 3

    Controlled Mobilization

With your doctor’s OK, you might unlock the hinges for limited, assisted range‑of‑motion exercises. The brace still prevents any harmful lateral motion.

  3. WEEK 6

    Progressive Loading

You transition to partial weight‑bearing. The brace remains on during walks; the rigid frame gives you confidence to put more weight through your leg.

  4. WEEK 12

    Weaning Off

Many patients are cleared to remove the brace for daily activities. You may still wear it at night or during physio for peace of mind until full strength returns.

How to Measure for the Right Size

Use a flexible tape measure around your thigh and calf as shown.

If your thigh and calf measurements fall into different sizes, choose the larger size. The brace can be adjusted tighter via straps.

TAKING CARE

Keeping Your Brace Fresh

Simple steps to maintain hygiene and durability.

  • Hand wash onlyUse cool water and mild soap. Gently scrub the neoprene and straps.
  • No machine dryingLay flat to air dry. Heat can warp the hinges and degrade the foam.
  • Wipe hingesClean metal parts with a dry cloth to prevent rust. Apply a drop of light oil if they squeak.
  • Wear a linerA thin cotton tube sock under the brace reduces chafing and absorbs sweat.

Real Recovery Stories

★★★★★

After my tibial plateau fracture, this brace gave me the confidence to start weight-bearing again. Night and day difference from the soft wrap I was given at the ER.

Bought for my 78‑year‑old mother after a patella fracture. She says it’s like a fortress around her knee. The open patella window is genius — no rubbing on stitches.

Worked well during my rehab, but the velcro started to lose grip after 3 months of heavy use. For the price, still worth it for the immobility it provided.

ACL reconstruction patient here — my surgeon was impressed with how rigid yet comfortable this is. I’m 6 weeks post-op and ahead of schedule.

Solid construction. The metal hinges feel very sturdy. Only drawback is that it traps heat if you wear it all day under jeans. Use the moisture-wicking liner.

Saved my sanity after a multiligament knee injury. I could actually sleep without my knee collapsing sideways. True external fixation — not marketing fluff.

Good solid brace. The straps took a few days to dial in, but once adjusted, it stayed put. No more wobbly knee when walking. Just wish the color options went beyond black.

I’m a PT and I recommend this to my patients who can’t afford a custom orthosis. Excellent alignment and strapping — design is very close to what we use in clinic.

I was hesitant because it looked bulky, but it’s surprisingly lightweight. Walked my dog on day 10 post-injury with it on. Recovery game‑changer.

HONEST FAQ

Questions You Actually Want Answered

No medical jargon — just straight facts.

Is this brace suitable for post‑operative use or only for fractures?
It is designed for both. The rigid side panels and full‑leg immobilization make it ideal for post‑operative recovery after ACL/MCL repairs, meniscus surgeries, and fracture management. Always follow your surgeon’s instructions.
How do I get the right size?
Measure around your thigh 15 cm above the patella and around your calf at its widest point. Our size chart covers Small to XL; the brace is adjustable within each size range. If you’re between sizes, go larger.
Can I wear it under clothing?
Yes — it fits under loose trousers or sweatpants. The low‑profile hinges and slim neoprene keep it unobtrusive under most clothing, though tight jeans may be uncomfortable.
How long can I wear it per day?
You can wear it for up to 12–14 hours continuously. We recommend removing it for at least 1–2 hours daily to let your skin breathe and to perform gentle range‑of‑motion exercises if cleared by your doctor.
Is it washable?
Yes. The neoprene lining and straps can be hand‑washed with mild soap and cool water. Do not machine wash or submerge the metal hinges. Air dry completely before re‑wearing.
Does it restrict blood flow if too tight?
When properly adjusted, no. You should be able to fit one finger between the strap and your skin. If you feel tingling, numbness, or discoloration, loosen the straps immediately and re‑adjust. The brace is not intended for constant high‑compression without release.
How does this compare to a custom‑made orthosis?
While a custom orthosis offers maximum specificity, this brace provides 90% of the functional stability at a fraction of the cost. Many orthopedists recommend it as a first‑line immobilizer before considering a custom device.
