Keyboard clatter and fan hum drop back, so you can sit back from the desk without a headset. If you are moving up from a basic usb web camera, the difference shows on the first call.

Set up in minutes

The flip-up clip grips a monitor or laptop edge, and the swivel base aims the lens at your face or a whiteboard. The mini tripod is in the box for desks without a screen edge, and it works as a tripod for cameras on any flat surface. Thick laptop lids are the one case where the tripod grips better than the clip.

Set up the camera in four steps

1. 1
   Check the body and the ring

   The matte black webcam has a ring light around the lens and cyan indicator LEDs on the lens. The body is solid plastic with a smooth finish.

2. 2
   Extend the mini tripod

   The tripod legs fold flat and lock firmly at desk height. Stand the camera on the desk for a stable eye-level frame.

3. 3
   Clip or swivel into place

   Flip the clip up to grip a monitor or laptop edge, then turn the swivel base until the lens points at your face.

4. 4
   Plug in and touch to light

   Connect the USB cable, then tap the control to cycle through Bright White, Warm Color and Warm White. Dial brightness between 20% and 100%.
