Pomegranate arils land in the bowl in minutes, while your hands stay dry and the counter stays clear. A red silicone dome holds the juice in, and a perforated grid lets the seeds fall through and leaves the pith behind. Built for home cooks who prepare pomegranates for salads, desserts and juice.
Peel and deseed pomegranate easily with a food-grade silicone tool
- messy pomegranate juice stains
- tedious seed extraction by hand
- scattered arils on counter
Deseed pomegranates with clean hands and no mess
Stop tearing open a pomegranate over the sink and picking arils out one by one. Pop it under the lid, and the arils drop into the bowl.
Built to keep the juice in the bowl
Juice stays in the bowl
The matte silicone dome sits over the fruit, so juice and seeds stay inside the bowl instead of splashing across the counter. Press down, tap with a spoon, and the mess stays where it belongs.
Arils fall, pith stays behind
The red perforated disc has a flower-pattern grid that lets the arils drop through while the bitter white membrane stays on top. You lift out the pith and rinse it away, and the bowl holds clean seeds.
Dual pour spouts
Two spouts on the white bowl let you pour arils or juice straight into a jar, blender or serving dish without spilling. The bowl is light and easy to tip.
From whole fruit to clean arils
- 1Halve the fruit
Cut the pomegranate in half across the middle. Use a fruit that is at room temperature, since warm fruit tears and releases more juice.
- 2Set the cut side under the dome
Place the halves in the red perforated disc, cut side down, then put the silicone dome on top so the juice is sealed inside the bowl.
- 3Press gently and tap
Press lightly on the dome and tap the outside of the bowl with a spoon. The arils drop through the grid into the bowl, and the pith stays behind.

Questions and answers
Yes, and the method is the same either way. Halve the fruit and place it cut side down under the dome. Very large fruit may need a second round, since the grid holds one half at a time.
The bowl is a light, budget-friendly plastic with a red rim and two pour spouts. It holds arils and juice well. Handle it gently, since heavy pressing can bend the thin grid disc over time.
The dome is made of food-grade silicone with a matte finish. Rinse it right after use with warm water and mild soap, so pomegranate juice does not sit and stain the surface.
Hand-picking one pomegranate takes 30 to 60 minutes at the sink. Pre-cut arils cost more per serving and lose freshness fast. A single reusable tool pays for itself after a few batches of holiday or salad prep.
The tool is made for pomegranate. Its grid and dome are sized for the arils, so citrus and other fruit are better handled with a different tool.
