Work stays on pace when the cursor stops skipping. The Rapoo Classic 5G pairs a 5GHz wireless link with a 4D scroll wheel and a DPI button, so pointer speed matches the task in front of you. One mouse covers desk work, web browsing and casual gaming.
Fast, stable 5GHz wireless mouse with 4D scroll and adjustable DPI for desktop and laptop
- laggy or interference-prone 2.4GHz wireless connection
- limited scrolling for documents and web pages
- fixed pointer speed that is hard to tune
A steadier cursor for every hour at your desk
Tired of laggy pointers and scrolling that crawls through long documents? The Rapoo Classic 5G links over 5GHz and tunes its DPI and 4D scroll to how you work.
Three upgrades you feel on every click

A 5GHz link that stays put
5GHz runs on a cleaner band than 2.4GHz, the band most wireless keyboards, routers and other desk gear crowd together. The cursor tracks steadily when the desk gets busy. Plug the receiver into a front or nearby USB port for the most direct line to the mouse.

4D scroll for long documents
The wheel moves in four directions, so wide spreadsheets and project timelines no longer need repeated drags. Scroll sideways across columns, then switch back to vertical for long reports. The forward and back thumb buttons handle page navigation without reaching for the keyboard.

Tune pointer speed with a DPI button
Tap the DPI button on top to change pointer speed without opening any software. Use a faster setting for wide screens and browsing, then drop to a slower one for detail work and precise clicks.
Tune it in under a minute
- 1Plug in the receiver
Connect the receiver to a USB port on your laptop or desktop. A front or nearby port keeps the link direct.
- 2Power on and move the cursor
Switch the mouse on, then move it to confirm the cursor responds on your screen.
- 3Tap the DPI button
Tap the DPI button on top to feel the pointer speed change. Settle on a faster setting for browsing and a slower one for detail work.
- 4Try the 4D scroll and thumb buttons
Scroll sideways through a spreadsheet to test the 4D wheel. Press the forward and back thumb buttons to move between pages.

Questions and answers
Plug the receiver directly into a USB port on your laptop or desktop. A front or nearby port works best. Avoid crowded hubs, since distance and extra devices can weaken the signal.
5GHz uses a cleaner band than 2.4GHz, which is the band most Wi-Fi routers, keyboards and other wireless gear share. That keeps the cursor steady when several devices sit on the same desk.
The DPI button sits on top of the mouse. Tap it to step through pointer speeds without installing software. Choose a faster setting for wide screens and browsing, and a slower one for detail work.
Yes. The wheel moves sideways as well as up and down, which saves time in wide spreadsheets, timelines and design files. Office work gets the most from it.
The matte camo shell, glossy trim and textured rubber-dot grip make it feel more solid in the hand than a plain office mouse. You get a 5GHz link, a 4D wheel and a DPI button in one mouse, so you do not need a separate office mouse and gaming mouse.
