Wireless Bluetooth mouse for tablets and laptops with up to 9 months battery life
- Needs a USB receiver port
- Frequent battery changes
- Slippery grip on desk
- Right-hand only ergonomics
Wireless mouse that connects without using a USB port
Stop losing a tiny receiver and fighting a cramped laptop port. Pair it over Bluetooth 3.0, set it on your desk or tablet, and get on with your work.
Pair it once, keep your USB port free

Bluetooth 3.0, no receiver to lose
Pairing happens in your device's Bluetooth settings, once. After that the mouse reconnects on its own, and the USB port you would have spent on a dongle stays open for a dock, a drive or a card reader. Bluetooth is also what makes the 6010B a fit for tablets that have no USB port at all.

1000 DPI, steady on the desk
The 1000 DPI optical sensor tracks cleanly on common desk surfaces, paper and matte pads. The anti-slip grip keeps the body from sliding when you reach for the scroll wheel, which has a textured grey finish that is easy to find without looking.

54.7g, light enough for a bag pocket
At 100.92 x 58.88 x 37.57 mm and 54.7g, the mouse is small enough to slip into a laptop sleeve pocket or a backpack side compartment. The ambidextrous shape works the same for left and right hands, so one mouse moves between desks without a change of setup.
Pair it in three steps
- 1Insert the alkaline battery
Open the base cover, place the included alkaline battery, and slide the cover back on.
- 2Switch the mouse on
Turn the mouse on with the switch on the base. The Bluetooth indicator on the body shows it is ready to pair.
- 3Pair from your device settings
Open Bluetooth on your laptop or tablet, select the Rapoo 6010B from the list, and confirm the connection. If the first attempt fails on an older laptop, try again once.

Questions and answers
It pairs over standard Bluetooth 3.0, so any laptop or tablet with Bluetooth built in can connect. Open the Bluetooth menu on your device, switch the mouse on, and select it from the list. If your device has no Bluetooth, you will need a USB Bluetooth adapter first.
Yes. An alkaline battery is in the box. Rapoo rates battery life at up to 9 months. Real life depends on how many hours a day you use it and whether you switch the mouse off at night. Keep a spare alkaline cell in a drawer so a dead battery never stops your work.
The body is matte plastic with a soft-touch finish and a textured grey scroll wheel. It weighs 54.7g, so it feels light rather than heavy. Some buyers want more heft at first, but for daily desk work the matte surface resists fingerprints and the grip stays put.
A USB receiver takes a port for the whole time the mouse is in use, and the tiny receiver is easy to lose. The Bluetooth 3.0 connection leaves that port free. Over a year of use, that is one less lost receiver and one port kept for the things you plug in every day.
The mouse uses an optical sensor and standard clicks, with no special silent switches. It is quiet for a typical desk, but if you work in a very quiet room, test the click before you commit.
