Description

Four brushes, four openings. Dried frosting comes out of piping tips, straws and bottle necks in a rinse or two, so cleanup stops eating the time you planned for the next cake.

Reaches inside piping nozzles, straws and narrow tubes to clean hard-to-reach residue

Solves
  • clogged piping nozzles
  • residue inside straws
  • hard-to-clean bottle necks
  • buildup in narrow tubes

Clear clogged tips in minutes, not soaking sessions

Before: dried frosting trapped inside your piping tips and straws. After: four brushes sized to each opening, rinsed clean in a minute.

Wire shafts that get inside the opening

Two stainless steel wire brushes with nylon heads and loop ends on white

Wire shafts that reach inside

The shafts are twisted 304 stainless steel with a springy give that holds its bend. A sponge stops at the rim. These go down into the tube and scrub the wall where dried buttercream hardens, and the loop end gives you a handle to pull the brush back out.

Cone-tip and flat-tip brushes on twisted stainless shafts with nylon heads

Four sizes, one job each

The nylon heads come in several diameters, so the narrow head goes into a small tip while the wider head handles a straw or bottle neck. The cone brush and flat tip cover the spouts and lids the loop brushes miss. Pick the smallest head that fits the opening and let it do the scrubbing.

Handles that stay in hand

Oval plastic grips in sky blue and hot pink hold a firm grip when the sink is wet. The two colours also make it quick to tell the brush families apart in the drawer.

Rinse, brush, rinse in under a minute

  1. 1
    Rinse the tip first

Run warm water through the tip while the frosting is still soft. Fresh residue comes out in a pass or two.

  2. 2
Match the brush to the opening

Start with the smallest head that goes in without forcing it. Move up to the wider nylon head for straws and bottle necks.

  3. 3
    Brush with short, light strokes

Work the brush in and out and turn it as you go. Let the bristles lift the residue rather than pressing hard, especially on thin tip walls.

  4. 4
    Rinse clear and air-dry

Flush the opening until the water runs clean, then stand the piece upside down until the brush and the tube are fully dry.

Questions and answers

Will the stainless wire scratch piping tips or glass?
w
Wanelo · seller

Stainless is firmer than nylon, so keep your strokes light and never press a wire loop hard against a thin rim or glass wall. Most of the cleaning inside a tip is done by the nylon heads. The wire is there to reach and guide.

Are the wire brushes safe on silicone or plastic tips?
w
Wanelo · seller

Yes for routine cleaning, with the same light touch. Soft silicone and thin plastic walls bend under pressure, so let the brush follow the bore instead of forcing it. A cracked or warped tip should be replaced, not scrubbed.

Do the bristles shed or hold up after many washes?
w
Wanelo · seller

This is a budget set built for regular rinsing, not heavy scouring. Dry each brush fully before you store it and keep it out of the dishwasher, where heat and detergent loosen bristles first. Kept dry, it stays ready for everyday tip and straw cleaning.

Which brush fits which tip size?
w
Wanelo · seller

Start with the double head brush (10 x 0.8 cm) for narrow tips and move to the umbrella brush (12 x 2 cm) for wider openings. The cone and flat tips reach spouts and lids. Slide the brush in dry first to check the fit before you add water.

Is it worth it versus a sponge or one bottle brush?
w
Wanelo · seller

A sponge cleans the outside of a tip, and a single bottle brush is too thick for a small piping opening. This four-brush kit covers the tips, straws and bottle necks you clean every week, and it costs less than one ruined batch of frosting. Hardened residue inside a tip is what ruins a design, and this set gets it out.
