Ready to ring in three steps

It is Bluetooth. The tag has no GPS chip, so the app shows where it was last in range of your phone, and a press of the button rings it when it is close. That covers the couch, the hallway, the office or the car park. It will not show a location across town.
How far away can my phone still locate the tag?
