Walk into any room and know what it is hiding. The X13 is a pocket RF and infrared detector with a steel probe and a 6-segment signal bar, made for hotels, rentals, changing rooms and cars.
Find hidden cameras fast with a pocket-sized wireless and infrared detector
- worry about hidden cameras in hotel rooms
- privacy concerns in changing rooms and bathrooms
- uncertainty in rental homes and Airbnbs
- covert recording in meetings and vehicles
Check the room before the room checks you
Before: arriving in an unfamiliar room with no way to know what is pointed at you. After: a short sweep with a pocket detector that shows you what it finds.
Two sensors, one pocket-sized sweep
- Radio and infrared in one sweep
The X13 listens for transmitting signals and uses its ruby-red infrared window to catch lens reflections. That covers devices a radio-only tool misses, including ones that are not sending anything at the moment.
- Read the room with a six-segment bar
The blue LED bar climbs as the steel probe nears a source. Red and green lights show status at a glance, so you read the result instead of interpreting beeps. No training needed, though the first sweep takes a little practice.
- Built for pocket checks
The matte black body measures 10.8 cm by 2.5 cm by 1.5 cm. It slips into a jacket pocket or bag, ready for a check the moment you walk in.
A five-minute room sweep, step by step
- 1Power on at the entry
Press the power button and let the bar settle. Note the baseline reading in the room.
- 2Sweep the bed area
Move the probe slowly within a few centimeters of headboard, nightstand, clocks and smoke detectors.
- 3Check the bathroom
Pass the probe along mirrors, vents and fixtures, pausing a few seconds at each.
- 4Finish at the desk
Check shelves, outlets and electronics. Mark any spot where the bar peaks and check it closely.

Questions and answers
Yes, in many cases. The infrared window picks up lens reflections even when a camera is offline, which radio-only tools cannot do. Sweep slowly and close to surfaces.
Sweep those spots first. Hold the probe a few centimeters away and watch the signal bar. A rise that peaks at one point is worth a closer look.
No. More blue segments mean a stronger source. Ordinary electronics also raise the bar, so expect to spend your first sweep learning what normal looks like.
No detector can promise that. Some devices are offline or shielded. Use the X13 as one step, together with a visual check of common hiding spots.
Apps sense only some signals and cannot see lenses. The X13 adds a dedicated probe and an infrared window, so you get a physical sweep tool.
Spread over every hotel, rental and meeting room you use, the cost per check is small. A professional sweep is a recurring expense. This is a one-time purchase you carry everywhere.
