Unfamiliar rooms feel like a gamble until you have checked them. The K18 sweeps a hotel room, rental, office or car for hidden cameras, bugs and wireless transmitters from 1MHz to 6.5GHz, and shows results on a red lens LED and a rising signal bar. Walk in knowing what you checked.
Detects hidden cameras, bugs and wireless trackers across 1MHz to 6.5GHz in one handheld device
- Worry about hidden cameras in rentals or hotel rooms
- Suspicion of listening devices or wireless bugs
- Concern about GPS trackers on vehicles or belongings
- Hidden phone tapping or stealth headset use
Find the hidden camera before it finds you
Unfamiliar rooms feel like a gamble. This handheld detector lets you sweep a hotel room, rental or car in minutes and walk in knowing what you checked.
Three ways to find what's hidden

Find cameras by their glint
A central red LED lights up when it picks up a reflective lens, at brightness rated up to 70000mcd. Point it at shelves, smoke detectors and clocks, and it flags the optics a radio sweep would never see.

Read the signal as you move
The signal bar climbs as the unit gets closer to an active transmitter. Walk slowly, watch the segments rise and narrow the source down to a lamp, a drawer or a corner. Switch between the MS and GS modes as the sweep changes.

Reach where the unit can't
The flexible probe ends in a narrow wand tip that slides behind headboards, into vent slats and along car door panels. Use it where the main body cannot fit, then confirm any reading on the main unit.
The numbers behind a quick sweep
- 1MHz-6.5GHzFrequency coverage from 1MHz to 6.5GHz
- 70000mcdBrightness of the red lens detector
- 8cmTelescopic antenna length, about 3.1in
- 400mABattery rating at 3.7V DC
A five-minute sweep, start to finish
- 1Extend the antenna and pick a mode
Pull the telescopic antenna to full length, press the MS or GS button for the mode you want, and turn the knurled gain knob until the bar responds.
- 2Check the lens first
Scan shelves, clocks, smoke detectors and outlets slowly with the lens LED on. A red glow means a reflective surface is catching the light.
- 3Sweep the room for signal
Walk the bed, desk, TV area and door frame while you watch the signal bar. Pause at corners and repeat the pass at a second height.
- 4Probe the tight spots
Feed the flexible probe into vents, behind headboards and along car door panels. Confirm any reading on the main unit before you move on.
Three pieces, ready to sweep
- Main detector unit×1
Matte black body with rotating frequency dial, red LED lens and LED bar display
- Telescopic antenna×1
Extends to about 8cm (3.1in) for wider RF reach
- Flexible probe with wand tip×1
Reaches behind furniture, into vents and under beds
Unfamiliar rooms, one quick sweep

The room you didn't choose
You unlock the door to a room you have never seen, drop your bag and start wondering what was left behind. A hidden camera can sit in a smoke detector or a bedside clock and run for days, and nothing about the room gives it away.

What a sweep actually finds
A sweep turns that guesswork into readings. The red LED lights up when a reflective lens catches its beam, and the signal bar climbs as the unit closes in on an active transmitter. The hidden spy camera detector covers both methods in one handheld, so you never switch tools halfway through the room.
Settle in, having checked
Once the bed, desk, vents and TV area are checked, you know what you checked. Fold the antenna, drop the unit in your bag and start the first night or the meeting with a clear head.

Questions and answers
The central red LED lights up when the detector picks up a reflective lens, which is how most pinhole and lens-based cameras show up. A radio sweep catches cameras that transmit, and the lens LED catches the optics. Scan shelves, clocks, smoke detectors and outlets slowly with the LED on.
No, and no handheld can. A device that is powered down or silent will not show on the RF bar. Some cameras also need a clear line of sight before the lens reflects light. That is why the sweep works best combined with a visual check of common hiding spots.
The RF sweep runs from 1MHz to 6.5GHz and covers GSM, WiFi, BT, FM, VHF and UHF, plus 900, 1200 and 2400 wireless audio and video transmission frequencies.
Yes. The flexible probe ends in a narrow wand tip made for gaps behind headboards, vent slats, and door panels in a vehicle. It reaches places the main body cannot fit, and you read the results on the main unit.
The unit runs on a 3.7V DC 400mA battery and charges from a 5-6VDC input through its charging port. Charge it before a trip so it is ready for the first sweep.
Yes, those are the core uses. The antenna extends for wider reach in a room, the probe handles tight spots, and the compact body fits in a travel bag. Use it on the bed, desk, TV area, dashboard and seats.
