Your lake and river footage comes back with deep blue skies and visible stones under clear water. This screw-on CPL filter fits the DJI Mini 3 Pro gimbal camera and cuts the glare at the lens, so the scene you flew to film is the one you keep. The coated Schott optical glass is easy to wipe clean after a flight near spray.
Polarising CPL filter that removes glare and deepens blue skies for clearer aerial shots on the DJI Mini 3 Pro
- Glare and reflections on water and glass
- Washed-out blue skies in aerial footage
- Smudges and water spots on the lens
- Lens protection during flight
Cut the glare. Let the blue sky come back.
Hazy, reflective water and pale skies turn your aerial clips into wasted flights. This screw-on CPL filter takes the glare out at the lens, so the scene you flew to film is the one that comes back.
Optical glass that keeps the image clean

Schott glass that keeps detail
The filter uses multi-layer coated Schott optical glass with an ultra clear finish. The coating is what keeps haze down when light bounces off the surface, so the image stays crisp at the edges of the frame and the sky stays clean.

Glare out, sky back
A CPL cuts reflections on water and glass and deepens blue skies. In the river comparison, the filtered shot shows the stones on the riverbed and a richer sky, with no grading needed to get there.

Built to wipe clean
The surface is waterproof, oilproof and antifouling, so spray beads off instead of soaking in. After a lake flight, a soft cloth gets the lens back to clear glass in a few strokes.
Mount it and check the live view
- 1Screw the filter on by hand
Thread the CPL onto the gimbal camera until it sits snug, then stop.
- 2Compare the live view
Power up and look at the water with the filter on and off. The glare change is visible on reflective surfaces.
- 3Rotate slowly
Turn the filter a little at a time and watch the water and sky. The strongest effect shows at certain angles, so stop where the reflections drop away.
- 4Wipe down after the water
After a lake or river flight, clean the glass with a soft microfibre cloth and a drop of lens cleaner.
Wipe off the spray, keep the glass clean
- Soft microfibre only
Dry shirts and paper can scratch the coated glass.
- Lens cleaner, one direction
A drop of cleaner and one gentle stroke clears spray and fingerprints.
- Hand-tighten the thread
Snug is enough. Overtightening makes the filter hard to remove.

Questions and answers
Yes. It is a screw-on filter made for the Mini 3 Pro gimbal camera, so there is nothing to modify and no rig to change. Once fitted, it sits flush and does not obstruct the drone body.
Screw it on until it sits snug, then stop. Hand-tighten only and check the seat before each flight. Overtightening strains the thread and makes the filter harder to remove later.
The multi-layer coated Schott optical glass is made for HD image quality. A polarizer does change how even the sky looks at some angles, so check the live view at the framing you plan to use before a long flight.
They solve different problems. An ND filter only dims the light. A CPL cuts reflections on water and glass and deepens the blue sky, which an ND cannot do. Glare that is baked into the footage cannot be fully rebuilt in editing, so one filter costs less than the hours of grading it saves.
Use a soft microfibre cloth with a drop of lens cleaner and wipe in one gentle direction. Skip the dry shirt, which can scratch coated glass and spread spray residue across the surface.
