Install in three steps
You’ll need a clean towel, a small flathead screwdriver, and 15 minutes.
Remove the old bulb
Open the hood, locate the back of the headlight housing, and remove the dust cap (if equipped). Disconnect the electrical connector, then unlock the metal retaining clip and gently pull out the halogen bulb. Do not touch the glass of the new LED bulb with bare fingers — use the towel or wear gloves.
Insert the LED bulb
Slide the AILEO bulb into the housing, matching the H4 tab orientation (typically with the projector lens facing forward and the heatsink fins facing outward). Secure it with the factory retaining clip, then connect the bulb’s plug to the canbus module’s input side. Connect the canbus module’s output to the factory harness.
Test and tuck
Turn on the headlights to confirm hi/lo beam switching works and that the beam pattern looks clean on a wall 25 feet away. If the cutoff is blurry, rotate the bulb slightly within the housing until you see a sharp Z-shape. Tuck the canbus module and wiring inside the housing, replace the dust cap, and you’re done.
