A 30X clip-on lens with its own LED ring turns the phone you already carry into a pocket inspection tool. Read part numbers, solder joints and coin dates on screen without squinting. Works for quick checks at the bench, in class or in the field.
Turn your smartphone into a 30X digital microscope for close-up inspection
- need to inspect tiny PCB components without bulky equipment
- hard-to-see small text, coins or details
- no portable magnifier for field observation
Inspect the tiny details your eyes can't resolve, from your phone
Squinting at a PCB marking or a coin date is slow and error-prone. Clip on a 30X lens with an LED ring, and the detail fills your screen.
Thirty times magnification with its own light

30X lens with an LED ring
The 30X lens and the LED ring work together. The ring lights the subject directly, so part numbers, solder joints and coin wear stay readable on the phone screen even in a dim corner of the workbench. You do not need a separate lamp to get a usable image.

Spring clip that grips your phone
The spring clip snaps onto the phone edge and seats the lens over the camera. Turn the rotating barrel to set focus. A flat edge gives the cleanest seat, and a thin case works. A thick or curved case stops the clip from sitting square.

Brushed metal dome housing
The lens sits inside a brushed metal dome that protects the glass and gives the unit a solid, premium weight in the hand. The matte black clip body and slide switch for the LED sit beside it, so the whole unit feels finished rather than toy-like.
Clip on, light up, focus in seconds
- 1Clip it onto the phone
Open the spring clip, seat it on the top edge of the phone and check that the lens sits over the camera. Remove thick cases first.
- 2Switch on the LED ring
Slide the LED switch and place the subject under the ring. Light is what makes small markings readable on screen.
- 3Turn the barrel to focus
Turn the rotating barrel slowly while watching the screen. Stop when the edges lock in sharp, then take a photo to keep the reading.
From squinting to seeing it clearly

The label you cannot read
A part marking on a board is smaller than a grain of rice. You tilt the board under the desk lamp, lean closer, and still guess at the last digit. Hand loupes give little magnification and no light, so the check takes longer than it should and the guess sometimes turns into a rework.

Clip it, light it, see it
The spring clip grips the top edge of your phone and holds the 30X lens over the camera. The LED ring lights the subject from the lens side, so the image is bright enough to read. Turn the barrel slowly and the marking sharpens on your screen, where you can zoom in and check it against your notes.

Questions and answers
It fits most standard smartphones with a flat top edge. The clip works best with the case removed or a thin one, because a thick or curved case stops it from sitting square over the camera. If the lens is off-axis, the image blurs at 30X, so check the seat before you start.
The 30X comes from the optical lens on the clip, not from pinching the screen. Sharpness depends on the focus barrel and the distance to the subject, so turn it slowly until edges lock in. Digital zoom on the phone adds no detail, so keep the zoom at its default.
For occasional checks, yes. A USB microscope needs a laptop or a second screen and usually more setup. This clip uses the phone you already carry, and the cost is a fraction of a bench scope you would use once a month. If you inspect boards all day at a fixed station, a bench scope still earns its place.
Yes. The LED ring sits around the lens and lights the subject directly, which is what makes small print readable in a dim corner. Slide the switch on before you focus, and place the subject under the ring.
Rest your elbows on the bench, or set the phone and clip on a stable surface, then turn the barrel slowly. Hold the subject still and take the photo once the edges look sharp.
