LED FILAMENT SERIES

Classic incandescent look, 10x the lifespan

Direct-fit COB LED bulb for 1156/1157 sockets. Bright, instant illumination that mimics original glass bulb appearance while drawing a fraction of the power. No more swapping burnt-out brake lights every season.

WHY THIS ONE

Three upgrades over your stock bulb

Each detail is designed to solve the biggest complaints about factory lighting: short life, dull output, and wasted energy.

Side-by-side comparison of 2x and 4x COB filament chip LED bulbs
SCALABLE BRIGHTNESS

2x or 4x filament chip configurations

Pick the brightness level that suits your vehicle. The 2x chip delivers a crisp OEM-plus look; the 4x chip floods the lens with maximum output for reverse or emergency lights.

DIRECT REPLACEMENT

True bayonet fit, no adapter needed

BA15S and BAY15D bases match the factory socket exactly. The bulb seats perfectly, makes solid contact, and does not trigger CAN bus errors on most vehicles (always check your manual).

PLUG & PLAY

Five-minute install

Pop the old bulb, twist in the new one. No tools, no polarity concerns (dual-compatible circuit board). Works on 12V systems for brake, tail, reverse and parking light positions.

Finally a brake light that looks original but lights up instantly. No more yellowish glow that barely wakes up.

Popped these into my reverse lamps and the difference is night and day. 4x chip covers the whole driveway.

Tight fit on my older Toyota socket, needed a tiny wiggle, but once seated it’s rock solid. Bright and crisp.

Bought a pair for the brake lights after one stock bulb failed. Easy twist-in, no hyperflash, very satisfied.

The glass filament look fooled my mechanic. He thought I still had vintage bulbs until I hit the brakes.

Works exactly as described on my 2016 Honda. Only giving 4 stars because I wish it came with a second gasket.

Zero radio interference and the color temperature is a clean warm white — not that cold blue LED mess.

Dual voltage works on my boat trailer too. Been underwater once and still lights up. Solid build.

Good upgrade for the price. Low current draw means I don’t worry about draining the battery when camping.

THE SHIFT

From dim and short-lived to reliable LED brilliance

Factory bulbs are the weak link in your lighting system. They fade slowly, burn out suddenly, and leave you guessing when the next one will fail. We re-engineered the classic 1156 form factor with modern COB filament technology so you install once and forget it.

CHAPTER 01

The chronic burnout cycle

Standard incandescent brake and reverse bulbs average 1,000 hours. Vibration, heat and voltage spikes cut that even shorter. You are replacing bulbs far more often than you should.

CHAPTER 02

The LED filament difference

Our COB filament chip array replicates the 360° glow of an old-school bulb, without the fragile tungsten coil. Same bayonet base, same glass dome, but powered by solid-state LEDs rated for tens of thousands of hours.

CHAPTER 03

Set it and forget it

Twist it into your existing socket and you are done. No resistors, no wiring changes. The bulb draws 80% less current, responds instantly, and keeps shining season after season.

HONEST FAQ

Quick answers to real questions

Will this cause a hyperflash or error on my dashboard?
Most vehicles accept COB filament LEDs without issue because the circuit mimics incandescent resistance. On a few late-model German or American cars, you may need a load resistor — but 90% of users plug and play with no errors.
Is the 4x chip too bright for tail lights?
It is intense. We recommend the 2x filament for brake and tail positions on road cars. Reserve the 4x for reverse lights, emergency strobes, or off-road rigs where maximum visibility is the priority.
How long do these actually last?
COB LEDs are rated for 30,000+ hours. In brake-light duty (intermittent use) that translates to many years — far beyond the 1,000 hours of a standard incandescent.
Do I need to change the fuse?
No. These draw significantly less current than the bulbs they replace, so your existing fuse is more than adequate.
Is the price justifiable for a single bulb?
Cost per year is lower than buying replacement halogens. One pair lasts as long as eight sets of standard bulbs, so you break even within the first two years — after that it is pure savings.
