Description

Turn a routine date check into a small desk-side delight with a polished wooden gentleman dog that displays the month, date, and weekday. It is a decorative desk calendar, sculptural accent, and creative housewarming gift in one.

A functional perpetual calendar disguised as an artistic wooden gentleman dog sculpture

Solves
  • plain or unattractive desk accessories
  • forgetting to update the displayed date
  • searching for distinctive creative gifts
  • adding warmth and personality to office or home decor

Make every date a desk delight

Trade a forgettable desk accessory for a polished wooden gentleman dog that keeps month, date, and weekday visible. It brings practical order and playful personality to any room.

A Calendar With Character

Metallic month date weekday bands on calendar

A perpetual daily display

Adjustable month, date, and weekday bands keep the display useful beyond a single year, without screens, batteries, or disposable pages.

Polished wood grain and golden calendar details

Polished wood, golden details

Warm polished wood grain, gold-tone bands, and brass-colored feet create a refined finish that reads as decor rather than office clutter.

The gentleman dog silhouette

A top hat, floppy ears, angled legs, and rounded tail turn an ordinary datekeeper into a recognizable desk-side companion.

Compact wooden dog calendar beside desk objects

Compact enough to belong

Its compact form fits home offices, studies, living rooms, and reception areas while remaining visible as a decorative focal point.

Set It, Then Enjoy It

  1. 1
    Find the three bands

Locate the month, date, and weekday bands across the metallic calendar cylinder.

  2. 2
    Set today’s date

Gently adjust each band until the displayed month, date, and weekday are correct.

  3. 3
    Give him a good spot

Place the compact sculpture where the display and polished wood profile stay easy to see.

What Arrives At Your Door

  • Wooden gentleman dog calendar×1

Finished sculptural calendar with adjustable month, date, and weekday bands.

A Sculpture With A Schedule

  1. 1
    The Desk Was Missing Something

A desk can be perfectly practical and still feel generic. Screens, paper planners, and disposable calendars keep the date nearby, but they rarely add warmth or personality to the room.

  2. 2
    Meet The Datekeeper

Enter the gentleman dog: part sculpture, part useful calendar, and entirely more interesting than another plastic desk accessory. His top hat, floppy ears, angled legs, and rounded tail give the date a proper character.

  3. 3
    A Better Daily Detail

Adjust the month, date, and weekday bands, then enjoy a clear display wrapped in warm polished wood and metallic accents. A routine date check becomes a small moment of desk-side delight.

  4. 4
    Give The Gift They Keep

For a birthday, housewarming, or thoughtful desk refresh, this is a gift with a place in the room. It stays useful beyond one occasion while keeping its playful, display-worthy presence.

Care For The Finish

  • Dust gently

Use a soft, dry cloth to remove everyday dust.

  • Wipe lightly

Use a soft, lightly damp cloth when the surface needs more than dusting.

  • Choose indirect light

Keep it in a dry spot away from harsh, prolonged direct sunlight.

  • Skip harsh cleaners

Avoid soaking wet cloths, abrasive products, and chemicals that can dull the finish.

Questions and answers

How do I adjust the month, date, and weekday bands?
w
Wanelo · seller

Gently rotate the adjustable metallic bands until the month, date, and weekday match the current day. Once set, the clear display stays visible on the sculpture.

Does the calendar need batteries or electricity?
w
Wanelo · seller

No. It is a manual perpetual calendar, so it works without screens, batteries, or electricity.

Will the dog calendar suit a professional office or reception desk?
w
Wanelo · seller

Yes. The polished wood grain, gold-tone bands, and brass-colored details keep the dog playful without making the piece look childish. It fits a home office, study, reception area, or curated desk.

Is the compact design suitable for a small desk or shelf?
w
Wanelo · seller

Yes. At 155 mm high, 69 mm wide, and 125 mm long, it has a compact footprint while keeping the sculptural silhouette and date display visible.

What makes the premium price worthwhile compared with a paper calendar?
w
Wanelo · seller

A paper calendar is used for one cycle and then discarded. This piece combines a reusable date display with polished wood, metallic details, and lasting decorative value, so it earns its place as both a calendar and a keepsake.

Is it ready to display or gift when it arrives?
w
Wanelo · seller

Yes. It arrives as a finished decorative calendar. Set the current date, choose a clear spot, and it is ready to display or give as a creative birthday or housewarming gift.
