Sharpen dull kitchen knives quickly by hand with a three-stage stainless steel sharpener
- dull kitchen knives
- no-power sharpening need
- unstable sharpening on counter
Dull knives, sharp again by hand
Tired of dragging a dull blade through every tomato? Three stainless stages on a steady base bring your kitchen knives back to daily cutting shape.
Three Stainless Stages, One Simple Pull

Three stages, one pull
Start in the coarse slot when a blade has gone dull, then move through the finer slots. Light, even pressure does the work, so there is no grinding wheel and no power cord to deal with.

Stays put on the counter
The body is wide and the red rubber base grips the counter or cutting board. The sharpener stays where you set it, so your hand can focus on the angle instead of chasing a sliding tool.

Two-tone grip, easy hold
A red grip insert sits over a matte black PP and TPR body. The handle gives a firm, controlled hold for the few minutes it takes to work through a knife.
Draw Each Blade Through in Order
- 1Set it on a dry, flat surface
Place the sharpener on a dry counter or board. The red rubber base grips the surface so the tool stays put.
- 2Hold the handle and find the slot
Grip the handle firmly with one hand. Set the blade in the coarsest slot first if the knife has gone dull.
- 3Draw the blade through slowly
Pull the blade through with light, even pressure, moving steadily from heel to tip.
- 4Move to the finer slots
Repeat through the finer stages, then wipe the blade dry before you cut.

Questions and answers
Thin, straight-edged kitchen knives are the easiest fit. Very thick blades need more patience through the narrow slots, so take them slowly and use light pressure.
Yes. The body is compact and the base is wide, so it sits on a counter or cutting board without taking over the space you need for prep.
It is made for standard steel kitchen knives. Serrated edges and ceramic blades are not what the stainless slots are built for, so check the blade before you start. For a dedicated tool, see our knife sharpener range.
The body is PP and TPR plastic with polished stainless steel slots. The steel does the sharpening, and the plastic handle carries the weight of daily use in a busy kitchen.
A dull knife costs you in every prep session, and a new set is a much bigger bill. This sharpener stays on the counter for quick touch-ups, so you keep the knives you already own. If you are weighing a new purchase, compare it against the knife sets you were eyeing first.
The red grip insert gives a firm hold, and the handle is shaped for steady pressure. Plan on a few minutes per knife rather than a few seconds.
