Mounds stop being a weekend chore when a solar stake keeps working in the ground for you. Push the tube into a drilled hole, press ON and let daylight run it. No wiring, no chemicals and nothing to check each morning.
Chemical-free solar mole and snake repeller that runs on sunlight and needs no wiring
- moles tunneling and damaging lawns
- snakes in gardens and yards
- need for chemical or trap-based pest control
- frequent battery replacement
Keep moles out of your lawn without chemicals or traps
Mounds and torn-up beds turn a good garden into a constant repair job. Set a solar stake in the ground and let daylight keep the tunnelers moving on.
A simple stake built for the ground
- Charged by daylight, not batteries
The clear-domed amber solar head takes in daylight and charges the built-in rechargeable battery in 4-5 hours of sun. One full charge runs the stake for up to 3-4 days, so a few overcast days will not leave it dead.
- Plug in, press ON, walk away
Drill a hole, slide in the black tube and press the ON/OFF button. There is no wiring, no outlet and no tool beyond the drill. The stake is working the moment it is switched on.
- Matte black tube that stays put
The matte ABC tube ends in a pointed tip that slides into soil cleanly and holds its position. It is built to stay in the ground through the season, so you are not pulling it out to recharge or re-seat it.
Drill, insert, switch on, done
- 1Charge in daylight
Set the stake in direct sun for 4-5 hours so the built-in rechargeable battery fills up.
- 2Drill a hole
Make a hole in the soil deep enough for the black tube, a comfortable distance from plant roots.
- 3Insert the tube
Push the pointed tube into the hole so the solar head sits above the surface in full sun.
- 4Press ON/OFF
Press the ON/OFF button to start the stake. Press it again to switch it off when you lift it out.

Questions and answers
Each stake sends ring-shaped pulses into the soil, aimed at moles and snakes. Results vary by soil, yard size and how much activity is already there. Give it a few weeks and watch for new mounds. If tunneling continues, add stakes or look at other options in our ultrasonic pest repellers range.
Each stake covers a limited area, so one unit will not protect a large lawn or a long bed. Space several across the lawn and along the beds, and add more where mounds keep appearing. The five-stake layout in the before-and-after photo is a practical starting point.
The stake has no chemicals, no granules and nothing to ingest. It works through pulses in the soil and does not release anything into it. Keep the solar head out of reach of small hands and pets, since it is an outdoor electronic device.
A full charge takes 4-5 hours of direct sun. One charge runs the stake for up to 3-4 days, which covers a stretch of overcast weather. Put it in the sunniest spot you have, because shade stops the charge.
Traps need daily checking and handling. Granules bring chemicals you have to keep away from pets, kids and soil life. This stake has no chemicals, no traps to empty and no battery swaps, and it stays in the ground year-round. The price reflects the premium materials, the clear-domed solar head and the ABC tube, and there are no refills to buy after it.
