   Screw it into the GU10 fitting

   Turn off the power at the wall once, fit the spotlight into the GU10 socket, then switch the wall power back on and leave it on.

   Connect your phone to 2.4GHz

   Switch your phone to the 2.4GHz network. The bulb does not work on 5GHz, so pairing fails if your phone sits on the faster band.

   Pair it in the Smart Life app

   Open the Smart Life (Tuya) app, add the device and follow the prompts. The bulb shows up in your device list once it connects.

   Link Alexa or Google Assistant

   Add the device to your Alexa or Google Assistant account, then try a command like change the lounge light to violet.

   Save a scene or schedule

   Pick a colour, set the brightness, and save it as a scene. Add a schedule for dinner, games night or a gentle wake-up.
