Description

Stop tearing wrap that will not cling. These four clear silicone covers stretch over bowls and plates, grip the rim with a dotted texture, and keep leftovers sealed and easy to see. One set covers the bowls you already own.

Reusable 4-piece silicone stretch lids that seal bowls and plates in place of plastic wrap

Solves
  • single-use plastic wrap waste
  • food left uncovered in fridge
  • mismatched container lids
  • leftovers drying out or odors spreading

Ditch the plastic wrap. Seal every bowl in one stretch.

Plastic wrap tears, clings to itself, and leaves leftovers half open in the fridge. Four reusable silicone covers stretch over bowls and plates, hold in place, and keep food visible.

Stretch, grip, and see through every cover

Stretches over every bowl

Silicone stretches far enough to cover a dinner plate, a cereal bowl or a deep container. The set gives you three square sizes plus one rectangle, so you pick the cover that pulls snug over the rim and leave the rest in the drawer.

Dotted grip that holds

The dotted surface grips the rim, so the cover stays where you put it while you carry the bowl to the fridge. No tape, no elastic, and no sheet that slides off because it did not stick down right.

See your food, not the wrap

The silicone is clear, so you see the leftovers without lifting the cover. Fewer lifts means less drying out and less guessing about what is in the bowl. Line the set up beside your and the fridge looks sorted.

Stretch, press, and you are sealed

  1. 1
    Pick the right size

Hold a cover over the bowl and choose the one that will stretch over the rim without rolling. A cover much bigger than the bowl will not grip.

  2. 2
    Stretch gently

Pull the edges outward just until they clear the rim. Over-stretching can thin the silicone at the edges and weaken the hold over time.

  3. 3
Press the edge all the way around

Work the dotted edge down around the rim until the cover sits flat and snug. Check the seal before you move the bowl.

  4. 4
    Let hot food cool first

Give steaming food a few minutes before covering. Trapped steam condenses under the cover and drips back into the bowl.

Questions and answers

Will one set fit the bowls and plates I already own?
w
Wanelo · seller

The set has three square sizes, 19 x 19 cm, 14 x 14 cm and 9 x 9 cm, plus one rectangle. The silicone stretches over bowls and plates of different sizes, so most common dishes are covered by one of the squares. Test the covers on your own bowls first and pick the one that pulls snug over the rim without rolling. If you also store food in , the same test works there.

Does the silicone seal well enough to keep leftovers from drying out?
w
Wanelo · seller

The dotted texture grips the rim, so the cover stays on the bowl without tape or elastic. Because the silicone is clear, you check leftovers without lifting the cover, and that means fewer uncovered moments in the fridge. For the tightest fit, press the edge down all the way around.

Is it safe to cover hot or still-warm food?
w
Wanelo · seller

Let hot food cool for a few minutes before you cover it. Steam trapped under the cover drips back into the bowl and makes the seal harder to keep. Once the food has cooled, the cover goes on in one motion.

How is this different from a roll of plastic wrap?
w
Wanelo · seller

Plastic wrap is single-use, clings to itself, and tears on the bowl edge. These covers are reusable silicone that stretches over the rim and stays put, and the clear material shows what is inside. After a meal, they come off and go back in the drawer for the next one.

Is a set of four worth it over cheap wrap?
w
Wanelo · seller

A roll is cheap per sheet, but each sheet is thrown away after one use. Four covers replace the sheets you would otherwise buy week after week, so the set earns its cost through repeat use. Buy it once and the roll goes in the cupboard.
