Automatic continuous catching with a one-way door: rodents get in but can't get out
- unwanted household mice and rats
- handling trapped rodents by hand
- repeated manual resetting of traps
- reaching into trap to add bait
Mice walk in. They don't walk out.
Stop finding droppings under the sink and resetting snap traps by hand. Set one reusable steel cage along the wall and wake up to a trap that has already done the work.
A one-way door that only lets mice in

A door that only opens one way
The angled metal flap swings inward when a mouse pushes through and settles back into place behind it. From inside the cage, the flap does not lift outward, so the mouse has no route back to the gap it came from. The cage keeps working all night without you touching it.

Built from galvanized steel
Diamond-mesh walls and top, with perforated metal end panels, make the cage solid and reusable instead of disposable. Nothing in it is plastic to crack, so one cage stays in service for as many catches as you need. Wipe it down, dry it, and set it again.

Remove mice without touching
The rear pull-out door is the only part you open. Hang bait on the hook slot, close the door, and you are done. In the morning the same door slides out, and you lift the capture out without reaching past the entry flap.
Set it overnight and check it in the morning
- 1Set it flush against the wall
Place the cage where droppings or chewing have shown up, such as the back of a sink cabinet or the edge of a garage storage area. Mice travel along walls, so the cage belongs on their path, not in the middle of the floor.
- 2Add bait through the rear door
Open the rear pull-out door, hang bait on the hook slot, and close the door again. You never need to reach into the cage to load it.
- 3Leave it overnight
Set it before bed. The one-way flap keeps every visitor inside while you sleep.
- 4Empty and reset in the morning
Open the rear door, lift out any capture with gloves, and dispose of it or release it well away from the house. Re-bait the hook and close the door to reset.
Keep the cage clean and the flap moving
- Wipe after each catch
Clean the mesh and floor with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry it fully before setting it again.
- Check the flap
Lift the angled flap and let it drop. It should move freely and settle closed every time.
- Clear the rear door track
Brush out bedding and debris so the pull-out door slides without catching.
- Store it dry
Keep the cage indoors between seasons so the steel stays clean and rust free.

Questions and answers
It holds the mouse alive. The cage has no kill mechanism, so what happens next is your decision. Most people release captures outdoors, well away from the house, or dispose of them while wearing gloves. Check your local rules on relocating wildlife before you release anywhere.
Yes. The cage stands on the floor against the wall and needs no screws, glue or adhesive, so nothing gets drilled or stuck to the surfaces you do not own.
Put on gloves, open the rear pull-out door, and lift the mouse out with the bait hook or a bag. Seal it in a bag before disposal, or carry it outside to release it away from home. Wash your gloves and hands afterward.
It works differently, and that is the point. A snap trap is single use, so every catch means a reset or a disposal by hand. This cage is reusable steel that keeps catching across many nights, and the rear door handles emptying and re-baiting. Over a season, one cage replaces a stack of disposable traps and the handling that comes with them.
The cage is all metal with no poison, glue or chemical residue, so nothing toxic is left behind. Place it where a curious cat or dog cannot knock it over or push a paw through the entry flap, and choose bait your pet cannot reach.
