Description

Load your favorite ground coffee into one reusable stainless capsule and brew it on the Dolce Gusto you already own. The steel body and crema filter insert turn an ordinary morning into a cup you chose, with a golden crema on top. Check the compatibility list, then brew your own blend.

Reusable stainless steel capsule that lets Dolce Gusto machines brew your own ground coffee

Solves
  • Ongoing cost of buying proprietary capsules
  • Single-use capsule waste
  • Limited choice of coffee blends
  • Weak or thin crema from standard pods

Brew your own ground coffee in every Dolce Gusto cup

Stop rebuying pre-filled pods for blends you didn't choose. Load your favorite grounds into a reusable stainless capsule and brew a rich crema on the machine you already own.

Brushed steel that does the real work

Inner stainless filter basket with perforated base for holding ground coffee

Brushed stainless steel body

The body is brushed stainless steel with a laser-etched dolphin logo, and the base is a precision perforated filter. Steel is built to be rinsed and reused cup after cup, so the capsule is not something you throw away after one brew.

Textured green silicone lid with central vent hole beside coffee beans

A filter made for crema

The crema-version filter insert ships with the capsule. The green silicone lid has a central vent hole, and the brown silicone seal pieces at the base help the capsule sit tight on the machine. The result is a cup with a golden crema on top, which is what most standard pods struggle to deliver.

Compatibility chart listing supported and unsupported Dolce Gusto machine models

Fits most Dolce Gusto machines

It works with the Mini, Genio 2, Fontana, Creative, Melody, Melody 2, Esperta, Eclipse, Circolo, Oblo and Mini Me. It does not fit the Piccolo XS, Piccolo, Lumio or Colors, so match your model name before you add it to the cart.

Your first cup in four steps

  1. 1
    Confirm your model

Check that your Dolce Gusto is on the compatible list. The Piccolo XS, Piccolo, Lumio and Colors are not supported.

  2. 2
    Fill with ground coffee

Open the capsule and add your ground coffee to the stainless filter basket. Press the grounds down lightly so they sit evenly.

  3. 3
    Close and load

Seat the green silicone lid, then load the capsule into the machine the same way you would a pod.

  4. 4
    Brew, then rinse

Start your usual Dolce Gusto cycle. Once the cup is poured, rinse the capsule and let it dry before the next brew.

The pod habit adds up

Every pre-filled pod costs more than the coffee inside it, and the blend was picked for you before it reached the shelf. Cheap plastic reusables promise a way out, but they often leak, brew weak, and wear out within a few months. Most mornings end up as a compromise in a cup you did not choose.

Your grounds, your machine

The capsule fits the Dolce Gusto you already own. Spoon in the ground coffee you like, close the green silicone lid, and load it into the machine as you would a pod. The blend is yours to pick, from a dark roast to a decaf you only buy on Sundays.

Questions and answers

Does it fit my Dolce Gusto model?
w
Wanelo · seller

It fits the Mini, Genio 2, Fontana, Creative, Melody, Melody 2, Esperta, Eclipse, Circolo, Oblo and Mini Me. Check your model name against that list before you order.

Which Dolce Gusto machines are not compatible?
w
Wanelo · seller

The Piccolo XS, Piccolo, Lumio and Colors do not take this capsule. If your machine is one of these, a different capsule is the right buy.

Can I use any ground coffee in it?
w
Wanelo · seller

Yes. Load any ground coffee you like, from a dark roast to a decaf or a blend from a local roaster. Whole beans do not work, because the capsule is built for ground coffee.

Is the stainless steel worth the price compared with plastic reusables?
w
Wanelo · seller

The maker puts the saving at up to 80% compared with buying pre-filled capsules, and that adds up fast when you brew daily. Steel holds its shape through repeated rinsing, where cheap plastic tends to warp and wear out, so one capsule replaces a steady stream of pods and replacement reusables.

How do I clean it after brewing?
w
Wanelo · seller

Rinse the capsule and filter under the tap after each cup, shake out the spent grounds, and let it dry before you store it. There are no pod boxes to empty and nothing to throw away.
