   Wipe the side panel

   Go over the console side with a dry cloth. Dust and oil weaken the silicone grip, so start clean.

   Line the clip arm up with the flat side panel and press until it seats. If it resists, stop and check the fit against the photos.

   Rest the headband

   Set the headband into the U-shaped cradle and coil the cable loosely so the weight sits in the cradle, not on the cord.

Dust it off, that is all it needs

  Wipe the matte white plastic with a dry cloth to lift dust before it builds up.

• Keep the pad clean

  Wipe the black silicone pad now and then so it keeps its grip on the casing.

• Keep oil away

  Clean hands with lotion or oil can leave residue on the pad and the matte finish.
