Wipe algae off your aquarium glass without ever reaching into the water. The outer magnet brush holds a floating inner pad against the glass, so you scrub from the dry side of the tank and leave the fish undisturbed.
Clean aquarium glass algae from outside the tank with magnetic brush
- algae build-up on glass
- reaching into the tank to clean
- scratches from manual scrubbing
Clear glass, dry hands, calm fish
Weekly algae scrubbing usually means reaching into cold water and fighting green film. This magnetic set cleans from outside so the glass stays clear and your fish stay undisturbed.
Built for glass you cannot reach

Clean the glass from outside
The outer unit's magnets hold the inner pad against the glass, so you wipe from the dry side of the tank. Your hand never touches the water, and the fish keep to their own corner.

Fleece pad lifts algae film
The black abrasive fleece lifts green film off the glass during a normal wipe. Light, even strokes do the job, so there is no need to lean into the tank or press hard.

Blue grip keeps the unit steady
The glossy blue ridges give your fingers a firm hold, and the round thumb button sits where your thumb naturally rests. The outer unit stays put while you slide it along the glass.
Set it on the glass and slide
- 1Rinse the inner pad
Rinse the black fleece pad and wipe the glass with a little water. Grit trapped under the fleece is the main cause of scratches, so clear it first.
- 2Place the inner pad inside
Set the floating pad against the inside glass on the spot you want to clean. Its magnets will track against the outer unit once you bring it in line.
- 3Slide the outer unit over the same spot
Press the outer unit to the outside of the glass, directly over the pad, and move it in light strokes. Check for missed patches, then lift and reposition the pad for the next section.

Questions and answers
The magnets pull the inner pad against the glass, so the set works through standard aquarium glass. On thicker panels the pad takes a few extra tries to line up, so position it first, then bring the outer unit in.
The fleece is abrasive, and acrylic marks more easily than glass. Test on a small hidden spot first, rinse the pad, and wipe with water before every clean. The set is made for glass tanks.
The pad stays where the outer unit holds it. Use light, even strokes and skip the hard pressing, because force is what makes the inner pad drag or drop off the glass.
The set comes in several sizes, so choose by the height and panel area you need to reach. The range covers freshwater and saltwater tanks from small desk tanks up to larger display tanks.
Sponges and razor scrapers mean reaching into the water every week, and razors can scratch. This set keeps your hands out of the tank. Two pieces replace a pile of sponges and blades, so the routine costs less over time.
