Every shell on a tray should look like it came from the same batch. This 30-cavity silicone mat gives your piping a fixed grid, so the rounds come out matched from the first bake to the last. It is reusable, replaces the parchment you would print and trace, and goes from oven to dishwasher without fuss.
Pipe perfectly even macaron shells every time on a reusable silicone mat
- uneven macaron size
- sticking to the tray
- wasting parchment paper
- guessing spacing between shells
Pipe every macaron shell the same size, every time
Before: lopsided shells, parchment guesswork, and a tray you can't trust. After: a 30-cavity silicone mat that gives every shell its own spot and the same round finish.
Thirty cavities, one spacing you never guess
- Thirty cavities, one spacing
Five rows of six round cavities hold batter in a fixed grid. Each shell lands in the same spot and bakes to the same size, so you stop judging spacing by eye. Pipe, tap, bake, and the next tray matches the last one.
- Flexible for easy release
The silicone bends easily, so you can lift each shell out with a fingertip. Flex a corner and the cavities open up without tearing the feet. A bare cookie sheet gives you none of that give.
- Oven, freezer and dishwasher ready
Rated for oven use up to 230°C, and safe in the microwave, freezer and dishwasher. The silicone does not hold on to odors or flavors, so one mat moves from batch to batch without carrying anything over.
From piping bag to cooling rack in four steps
- 1Set the mat on a flat tray
Smooth out any curl so the mat sits flush. A level pan keeps batter from running to one side.
- 2Pipe into each cavity
Fill each round to just below the rim. Overfilled cavities spill over and spread into the next shell.
- 3Tap and rest
Tap the tray on the counter to settle the batter, then let the shells skin over before they go in the oven.
- 4Cool, then lift
Let the shells cool fully on the mat. Peel up an edge with your fingertips and they come away clean.

Questions and answers
Yes. Any standard round piping tip works because the cavities take batter from above. You still need batter that holds its shape. A thin batter will spread past the rim no matter what the mat looks like. Pipe to just below the rim and the grid does the rest.
The small cavities measure 2.3 cm across and the large ones measure 3.7 cm, so you have two set diameters to plan around. Shells bake close to the cavity size. Batter consistency and how far it spreads will shift the final width a little, so bake a test tray before a big order.
It is rated for oven use up to 230°C (about 400°F), and it is also microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe. Keep it on a flat baking sheet in the oven so the mat stays level while the shells set.
The mat measures 26 by 29 cm, so it fits a standard baking sheet with room around the edges. Set it flat on the pan before you pipe and it will not shift while you work. If you bake on several pans, a silicone baking sheet pan setup works the same way.
A printed template costs little once, but you reprint it, trace it under parchment and toss the sheet after each bake. The mat is a single purchase you use every session and wash in the dishwasher, so the cost per bake drops the more you bake. If you make macarons every few weeks, the mat pays for itself in saved parchment and wasted batter.
