Clips to your laptop lid edge

The brushed aluminum bracket grips the edge of the lid, so the phone sits beside the screen instead of on the desk. Nothing extra sits on the keyboard deck, and the laptop closes as usual once you unclip it. Check your lid thickness before you tighten the knob fully.
