Reload real film again and again

The M35 is built to be used for years. Once a roll is finished you rewind it with the button on the base, open the back and drop in a fresh roll. The camera itself never goes in the bin.

Your phone photos all look the same

The photos that disappear

A camera roll fills up fast and nothing stands out. Scroll back a year and the parties, the road trips and the street corners blur into one another. You want pictures that feel like they were taken, not just saved.

Every roll is a new cost

Disposables mean buying a whole new plastic camera every time you finish a roll. Each one goes in the bin after 24 frames. A reusable body stays with you, and only the film needs replacing.

A camera that is ready to shoot

The M35 takes one AAA battery, a standard 35mm roll and a few minutes of setup. Pick the color that suits your bag, load it up and keep it with you for every outing that deserves a frame.

From first loading to your first developed roll

  1. First Use
    Loading your first roll

Insert one AAA battery, pull the winding handle, thread film onto the reel and advance until the counter shows 1. Expect a few minutes the first time as you learn the steps.

  2. 3 Rolls
    Learning the rhythm of shooting

You will get comfortable with winding, the flash and the viewfinder framing. Results improve as you learn how your distance and light affect each shot.

  3. 30 Days
A roll you are proud to show

After several outings and developed rolls, you will have a set of real film prints to compare and a sense of the camera's personality.

Questions and answers

Do I need to know film photography to use it?
w
Wanelo · seller

No. The M35 is a point-and-shoot. Insert one AAA battery, follow the loading steps, slide the power switch on and press the shutter. The loading process takes a few minutes the first time and gets quicker after one roll.

What battery does it need and how long does it last?
w
Wanelo · seller

It runs on one AAA alkaline battery, which powers the flash and the camera controls. Keep a spare in your bag for long days out.

How do I load and unload the film roll?
w
Wanelo · seller

Load by opening the back cover, pulling up the winding handle, dropping in the roll and hanging the film on the reel. After shooting, press the rewind button on the base and turn the winding handle clockwise until the film is fully rewound, then open the back to remove it.

Is it worth it compared to disposable cameras?
w
Wanelo · seller

A disposable is a full camera you buy for one roll. The M35 is the camera you keep. Once you own the body, each new roll is just the film and the developing, so the camera pays for itself after a few rolls compared with buying disposables again and again.

Is it just a toy or will the photos be good?
w
Wanelo · seller

It is a real 35mm camera that shoots standard film. The optical viewfinder and built-in flash make it simple to use, and the results come down to light and distance, which improve quickly as you shoot more rolls.

Which colors are available?
w
Wanelo · seller

Six pastel colorways: sky blue, mint green, yellow, pink, red and cobalt blue. Pick the one that fits your bag or your style.
