Sing, chat and record on a mic that stays put

Tired of a stand that tips over and a mic that never points at your mouth? Set it once on its weighted base and sing or talk hands-free.

A weighted base that holds its ground

  • A base that won't tip

The base carries an internal weight block and sits on EVA non-slip feet. It stays flat on the desk when you lean in for a high note or type between verses. You set it down once and it does not walk toward the keyboard.

  • Aim it at your mouth

The arm bends into the position you need and the head rotates a full 360 degrees. Get the capsule a few inches from your mouth once and it stays there, so your volume stays even from the first verse to the last.

  • Connect it your way

Pick the USB version if you want the volume switch right on the body. Pick the 3.5mm version if your PC has no free USB port or you are plugging into an older tower. Both plug in without extra software for basic use.

From desk to first note in four steps

  1. 1
    Set the base

Place the round base on a flat, firm part of the desk so the non-slip feet can grip.

  2. 2
    Bend the arm

Bend the arm so the head sits a few inches from your mouth. Adjust it once and it holds the angle.

  3. 3
    Aim the head

Rotate the head 360 degrees until the capsule faces your mouth, whether you sing or chat.

  4. 4
    Plug it in

Connect the USB version and use the volume switch on the body, or plug the 3.5mm version into the PC audio port.

Questions and answers

Does it work with my PC, USB or 3.5mm?
w
Wanelo · seller

Both versions work with a PC. Choose USB if you have a free USB port and want the volume switch on the body. Choose 3.5mm if your PC has no free USB port or you are plugging into an older tower with an audio jack.

Does the volume switch come on both versions?
w
Wanelo · seller

No. The volume adjust switch is on the USB version only. The 3.5mm version has no switch, so you control the level from your PC or the app you are singing in.

Is it good enough for simple recording, not just karaoke?
w
Wanelo · seller

Yes for song ideas, voice memos and rough takes. It is built for karaoke, voice chat and simple recording at a desk. For polished studio vocals, a dedicated studio mic will sound fuller.

Will the base stay steady on a soft or slanted desk?
w
Wanelo · seller

It is at its best on a flat, firm surface, where the weighted base and EVA non-slip feet grip hardest. On a soft or sloped surface, the base can shift, so set it on a hard desk top.

How do I position the head for singing versus chatting?
w
Wanelo · seller

For singing, bring the capsule a few inches from your mouth and keep that distance steady. For chatting, angle the head slightly lower and a little further away. The 360 degree head and flexible arm let you move between the two in seconds.

Is it worth it compared with a handheld mic?
w
Wanelo · seller

A handheld mic means one hand is always busy. This one replaces that grip for the cost of a single session with a handheld, and it keeps both hands free for lyrics, controllers or a keyboard for as long as you sing or talk.
