Auto wake and sleep
Open the flap and the screen lights up. Close it and the iPad goes to sleep. No power button hunting, and the screen stays covered while the case is closed.
Multi-angle stand

Fold it open, prop it up, watch

Seat the iPad in the folio so the camera cutout and speaker holes line up with the case openings. Check the buttons before you close the flap.
- 2Open the flap to wake it
Lift the cover and the screen comes on. Close it and the iPad sleeps on its own.
- 3Unfold the stand
Pull out the stand panel and let it lock at the angle you want. Rest the case on a flat surface for desk viewing, or tilt it for video.
- 4Secure before carrying
Close the flap and fasten the elastic strap tab over the cover so the screen stays covered during the trip.

- Open the stand gently
Move it to a locked angle and stop there. Forcing it past the stop strains the hinge over time.

The case is cut for the iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad 4. Check the model number on the back of your tablet before you order, since the camera cutout and buttons are placed for those models.
Will it fit if my iPad has a Smart Cover or a different generation?

It fits the iPad 2, 3 and 4 only. Other generations, including the iPad Air and iPad mini, have different dimensions and will not line up.
