It guards against scratches, dust and the smaller knocks you get on a trail or in a pocket. The soft rounded body absorbs impacts that would land on bare plastic corners. It does not make the X4 crash-proof, so a hard fall onto rock can still cause damage.
Can I still reach the ports with the cover on?
