How to get curls and volume in one pass

Any heat tool can dry hair if you misuse it. Start at 180°C on fully dry hair, keep the brush moving, and only go to 210°C if the curl or lift won't hold. Never use it on wet hair.
Is the barrel hot enough to burn my scalp?

The barrel is hot, as it has to be. The ridged anti-scalding end cap gives you a place to grip, and the soft comb teeth keep the barrel moving through the hair. Roll away from the scalp for root lift.
Does it work on fine, thick or curly hair?
