A gurgling sink or a shower that drains slower each week usually means hair has packed into the trap. This flexible micro-hook wand grabs the clump and drags it out by hand. No chemicals, no taking the pipes apart, and no fishing in standing water.

Built to reach the hair that plungers miss

  • Reaches past the first bend

    Each rod is 18 inches long and slim at 1/8 inch, so it slides through the drain opening and past the bend in the trap. You feel the hair catch, then you pull it straight out. A plunger pushes that same hair deeper, which is why this works where plungers fail.

  • A twist handle that spins 360°

    The grip is textured so it does not slip with wet hands. Turn the handle and the micro-hooks on the wand wrap around the hair. Rotating it a few times is usually enough to lock the clump in place before you draw it up.

    Pull, then discard the wand

    Draw the wand straight out and run the tap to check the flow. Detach the used wand from the handle and throw it away. Keep the handle for the next slow drain.

Will it fit my drain and get past the pop-up stopper?

The rods are slim at 1/8 inch, so they fit through the opening of most bathroom sinks, showers and tubs without removing the drain. Pop-up stoppers can block the first few inches. If yours does, lift the stopper, feed the wand past it, then drop the stopper back in place.

Will it scratch the pipe or damage PVC or older metal?

The wand is flexible plastic with micro-hooks, not a metal cable with a cutting tip. It bends around curves instead of forcing its way through, so it does not gouge the inside of a pipe. It is safe to use on PVC and on older metal pipes.

Why not just use a chemical drain cleaner?

Chemical cleaners sit in the trap and sometimes do not reach a hair clump at all. They also make a mess of the pipe and can be harsh on the skin and on the plumbing over time. This kit pulls the hair out, so there is nothing left to dissolve.
