Questions and answers
Yes — they connect via Bluetooth just like official Joy-Cons. However, since the Lite doesn’t have a kickstand, you’ll want a stand to play comfortably with the controllers detached.
Absolutely. They pair wirelessly with any Nintendo Switch console — original, V2, and OLED. Slide them onto the console or use them detached with the included wrist straps for motion gaming.
No noticeable lag in our testing. The Bluetooth connection is stable for all genres — from precise platformers to fast‑paced racers.
These controllers don’t have HD Rumble, the IR motion camera, or amiibo NFC scanning. But if you mainly play standard games or party titles and don’t need those extras, you’re saving a significant chunk of money.
On a full charge, you can expect roughly 4–6 hours of continuous play. They recharge via the Switch console when attached, just like the originals.
They don’t include a charging grip — you charge them by attaching to a powered‑on Switch console. For charging while playing detached, any compatible third‑party charging grip will work.
