The grip keeps your GoPro on the surface when a wave or a wet hand takes it away. Its buoyant body, GoPro-style three-prong mount and blue wrist strap give you a steady handheld shot and both hands free for the water.
Floating handheld grip that keeps your GoPro afloat and steady in water
- camera sinking or being lost in water
- unstable handheld shots
- dropping the camera while shooting at sea or pool
Keep your GoPro afloat and your footage steady
Before: a dropped camera sinks and the shot is gone. After: a bright yellow float keeps your GoPro on the surface and your hands free to shoot.
A grip that floats when your camera doesn't

It floats when you don't
The hollow body keeps the grip on the surface, so a slipped rig stays visible and easy to grab. Nothing sinks to the bottom of the pool or the wash zone while you go back for it.

Steady shots in your hand
The GoPro-style three-prong mount sits on top of the grip, and the stainless steel pin locks in with the black thumb screw. The rounded handle gives you a firm hold, so the frame stays level while you pan along the shoreline.

Strap it on and let go
The adjustable blue strap has a toggle clip that runs to your wrist. If your grip hand opens during a wave or a splash, the camera is still attached to you and floats with the grip.

Questions and answers
Yes. The grip has a buoyant hollow body, and the whole setup stays on the surface when the camera is mounted. A dropped rig floats instead of dropping to the bottom.
It attaches with a GoPro-style three-prong mount on top of the grip, and the thumb screw locks the camera to the waterproof housing. Check that your housing uses the standard three-prong mount before you buy.
Both. Use it at the beach, on a boat deck, at the pool edge, or while snorkeling near the surface. Keep the strap on your wrist and hold the grip just above the waterline.
A loose floaty strap only keeps the camera from sinking after it leaves your hand. This grip gives you a handle to shoot with as well as a float, and it costs less than replacing one drowned GoPro.
Rinse the grip in fresh water after each session and let it dry before you store it. Salt and chlorine left on the glossy plastic can dull the finish over time.
