Description

Dust the undersides of every leaf without bending the plant or fighting a clogged tool. The 23 cm bent metal tube and squeeze bulb put powder exactly where pests and mildew hide. The kit includes a spare nozzle and powder bottle, so one purchase covers the whole season.

Squeeze-and-spray fine powder duster with a long bent tube for reaching plants and garden spots

Solves
  • hard-to-reach plant areas
  • uneven powder application
  • clogged nozzle when not in use

Dust every leaf, right down to the underside

Short dusters miss the spots pests hide in. This long bent tube with a squeeze bulb reaches them, so you treat the whole plant instead of guessing.

A long bent tube for the spots you can't see

  • A bent tube that reaches underneath

The 23 cm metal tube bends at the end, so you angle the nozzle up under a leaf and squeeze without bending the stem. Dense canopies and the back row of a bed stop being a problem. You work from the outside of the plant and the powder lands where it needs to.

  • Metal nozzle that stays clear

The knurled metal nozzle grips well when your hand is wet or dusty. The rubber dust cap on its tether seals the tip between rounds, so the nozzle is ready the next time you pick it up. A spare nozzle comes in the kit in case you need to swap one out.

  • Stainless clamp that holds the build

A stainless steel hose clamp locks the silicone bulb to the brass-tone tube, so the joint stays tight through a full season of use. The overall length is 32 cm, which fits comfortably in a tote or a garden shed shelf.

Squeeze, angle up, and dust in short bursts

  1. 1
    Fill the bottle partway

Load the clear bottle only partway. Too much powder packs into the bulb and sputters instead of flowing.

  2. 2
    Angle the tube up

Slide the nozzle under the leaf, pointing up toward the underside. Keep the stem out of your grip.

  3. 3
    Give two short squeezes

Use two or three short squeezes per spot. A heavy blast clumps the powder and leaves a patchy coat.

  4. 4
    Check the underside

Look at the leaf from below to see the powder has settled. Then move to the next leaf and repeat.

  5. 5
Cap the tip when you finish

Seal the nozzle with the tethered rubber cap, wipe it if it is damp, and store the duster dry and upright.

Questions and answers

Will this fit the dust and pest powders I already own?
w
Wanelo · seller

Yes, if the powder is a fine dry dust such as diatomaceous earth or a fine pest control agent. Keep out clumps and damp mixes, because they block the nozzle. If your powder has been sitting in a humid shed, sift it first.

Is it safe to use on indoor plants and edibles?
w
Wanelo · seller

The duster is silicone and metal, so it adds nothing to the plant. The powder is the variable. Read the label of whatever you load, and follow its directions for any crop you plan to eat. Dust the undersides of leaves and let the powder settle before you handle fruit or herbs.

Does the metal nozzle clog with fine powder?
w
Wanelo · seller

It clogs far less than a short duster because the bent tube and knurled nozzle keep a straight, open path for the powder. Cap the tether after every use and wipe the nozzle if it gets damp. A capped tip between rounds is the simplest way to keep it clear.

Why pay more than a basic squeeze duster?
w
Wanelo · seller

Basic dusters often use thin plastic tubes that bend out of shape and clog. This kit gives you a 23 cm metal tube, a stainless steel clamp, a knurled nozzle and a spare nozzle, plus a clear powder bottle. Four working parts from one purchase, built to run through a full season, costs less per treated plant than replacing a cheap tool every few weeks.

How do I store it between uses?
w
Wanelo · seller

Cap the nozzle with the tethered rubber cap, keep the bulb dry, and store the duster upright. Fill the clear bottle only partway so the powder does not pack into the bulb and tube.
