Soften the skin
Shave after a warm shower or soak the area with a damp cloth for 2–3 minutes. Soft hair cuts more easily.

Apply a rich shaving cream or gel to create a slippery surface. Avoid foam from a can — a brush-lathered cream gives better protection.
Find the angle
Hold the razor at about 30° to your skin. Let the handle’s weight press the blade — no extra pressure needed.
Short, slow strokes
Shave in the direction of hair growth using strokes no longer than 2–3 cm. Rinse the blade after each pass.
Cool and protect
Rinse with cool water to close pores, pat dry, and apply a gentle moisturizer or aloe vera. A soothing patch can calm any redness.
