A worn damper turns every flight into shaky footage. This tri-arm shock absorber set and two retainer clips bring the DJI Mini 3 Pro gimbal back to steady, smooth video. Two parts, one order, and the repair stays small.
Replacement shock-absorbing gimbal damper set for DJI Mini 3 Pro pan/tilt gimbal
- worn or broken gimbal dampers causing shaky or jittery footage
- lost or cracked gimbal retainer clips
Steady footage again after a hard landing
Worn dampers turn every flight into shaky, jittery video. Swap in this tri-arm shock absorber set and two retainer clips, and your footage goes back to smooth.
Three arms that soak up the shake
- Three arms that absorb the shake
Three flexible arms radiate from a central ring and sit between the drone body and the gimbal. That flex is the whole job of the part. When the arms are intact, the gimbal floats on them and the footage stays level. When they crack or flatten, the jitter comes straight through into the frame.
- Clips that stay put
Two clip-on retainer caps snap onto the ends of the gimbal pan and tilt arms. They keep the gimbal seated once the dampers are in. Align each clip with its arm end and press until it locks, and the gimbal stays where it belongs in flight.

- 4 holesmount screw holes around the center
Replace the dampers in a few steps
- 1Power off and disconnect
Switch the drone off and unplug the battery before you touch the gimbal. A powered gimbal can move unexpectedly and pinch fingers during reassembly.
- 2Inspect the old parts
Check the damper arms for cracks or flattening and look at the clip seats for wear. Replace any part that no longer flexes evenly.
- 3Seat the new damper
Set the tri-arm damper into the gimbal mount so the central ring sits square and the four mount holes line up.
- 4Snap on the clips
Align each retainer clip with its arm end and press evenly until it snaps into place. Do not force it, or the clip can crack.
- 5Check the gimbal
Reconnect the battery, power on, and confirm the gimbal sits level and moves freely without rubbing.
Everything needed for one gimbal repair
- Tri-arm shock-absorbing gimbal mount×1
Matte black damper with three flexible arms and a central mounting ring
- Gimbal arm retainer clips×2
Clip-on caps that snap onto the pan and tilt arm ends
What to expect after the swap
- First useGimbal sits level
After fitting, check that the gimbal sits level and the clips hold the arms in place. Power on and confirm the gimbal moves freely without rubbing.
- 3 usesFootage feels steadier
Fly the same kind of shot you had before. If the old dampers were the cause, the jitter should be gone or clearly reduced.
- 30 daysRoutine check passed
Inspect the dampers after regular flights for cracks or flattening. Replace them early if the arms no longer flex evenly.

Questions and answers
Yes. The set is built for the DJI Mini 3 Pro pan and tilt gimbal. Check that your drone is the Mini 3 Pro before ordering, since the mount layout is specific to that gimbal.
No DJI tools are needed. The damper seats on the gimbal mount and the two retainer clips snap onto the pan and tilt arm ends by hand. Power the drone off and disconnect the battery first, then press each clip evenly until it locks.
In most cases the dampers are the part that wears out and causes the shake. A replacement set costs far less than a full gimbal assembly, so you fix the worn part and keep the rest of the gimbal you already own.
The set includes two retainer clips, so a lost or cracked clip is covered in the same order. Replace both clips together so the gimbal arms stay evenly held.
Look for cracked arms, flattened arms that no longer flex evenly, or footage that jitters on the same shots it used to handle well. Inspect the dampers after any hard landing and after regular flights.
